When it comes to rating a psychic, it’s almost a disservice talking about my experience because my experience was so otherworldly/surreal that it would sound like I’m championing the existence of the supernatural as a thing. I highly recommend you see for yourself what Cynthia Hess can offer you, not because she’s proof that real psychics exist, but because what she offers is intimate, highly personal, and valuable to any human being; regardless of whatever it is you believe or don’t believe. She is highly professional, wields her trade like a surgeon with a scalpel, and cuts to the core while being a genuinely good person. I’d also bet that she is an excellent mother given how thoughtful and empathetic she is, her attention to detail, and her no nonsense ability to project a palpable presence. So, I ask you now to cast aside all superstitions, all negative energy, all forbidden thoughts about the supernatural! I ask this of you because I too was quite the skeptic. My mind is of science, my background is centered in the tangible, the knowing and the stuff I can put my money on. What of energy? what of afterlife and the unknown? If we go back to our scientific background for some answers we find that one of the rules of thermodynamics explains that energy is neither created nor destroyed; it simply changes form. What Ms. Hess explained to me is that we consist of 3 parts, the physical, the soul and the ‘energy’ of our being. The soul moves on when we physically die but the energy remains…well, I’m paraphrasing of course. If you really wanna get down to the brass tacks for a fuller understanding give her a call.Cynthia gave me my money’s worth and then some. This takes a lot for me to say because I am rather cheap. The meeting is tailored to you as she feels necessary and with the little information you provide (DOB, Place of birth & time) she really just goes from there. Store is small and other than a few handmade items that were not given much info on everything is cheap bulk bought and sold at a ridiculous up-charge. I went for herbs of which there are little of and her knowledge offered was false and potentially harmful. I also did not appreciate her talking about the free items she receives to add insane up charges to. I feel as if her audience is small and familial and she is using them instead if being a model for others in the community. The readings that are done are often so vague and filled with fairy tale wishes of love coming in a few days and as I sat and waited for my friends private reading that I heard clear as a podcast it was much the same almost like a script. I 100% do not recommend shopping here.

This place is awesome!! I was looking to get new crystals and had a layover in Albuquerque a couple weeks ago. When I landed, I looked up metaphysical stores in the area and Abitha’s popped up. What made this place so awesome was the fact it is an apothecary. Before I came here, I never been to an apothecary before. Abitha’s has a wide variety of herbs, ritual oils, as well as, annointed candles for candle magic. Some of the candles even have a ritual attached to it for you to do. They even have cheap candles of all colors for you to make your own candle magic with. If you are into witchcraft and candle magic, and things of that nature, You will love this place!! What really stuck out to me was the back wall with all the intention incense. They were about $2.75 each for a pack of about 8-10. I had to purchase some because I never truly came across anything like them before. So far I have been burning them and even using them in conjunction with my candle magic. I can attest that these things work!! And they have a great smell and burn down slow and steady!! Abitha’s does not really have a wide variety of crystals to choose from, however I got exactly what I was looking for which was a nice chunk of citrine and black tourmaline for about $2 each. I even ended up purchasing smoky quartz and rhodonite as well!! The staff were very helpful and friendly as well. I left Abitha’s completely satisfied and cannot wait to someday layover in Albuquerque again. I will be returning and spending my money here again!

Abitha’s packs a whole lot into it’s small space next to Twisters on Wyoming (be sure you don’t go to their old location by mistake like I did my first time). The staff are welcoming and helpful which is a real plus because in contrast to other apothecaries, this one carries no books about its wares. What they DO have covers a lot though – from colored candles in various shapes and sizes, including skulls in a whole rainbow of colors, to jars of loose herbs, crystals, and unusual items like porcupine quills, consecrated railroad spikes, goblets, and runes. There’s also a selection of tarot decks, tapestries, and leather-bound journals. The only con is that if you’re not already into witchy homemade stuff, you may feel a bit lost. The jars with labels like “Dragon’s Blood” strike a semi creepy tone. You won’t find angel cards or flute music here. Much of what they stock is made in house: incense, bath soaks, intention candles. There’s also a wall of oils dyed bright colors to address the needs of various astrological signs and planets, and many to attract love or money. The descriptions felt a bit old-school, which is appropriate since the shop has been around since 1987 (although it’s moved location since then).

I was in New Mexico the land of spirituality and this awesome little store is filled with handmade oils and unique items you can’t find in every metaphysical shop. Glad I stopped in only thing I wish the oils came with little instruction cards to remind you how to use them, or if they are a gift it’s easier to pass along the way to use the candles and oils together. I also bought dragon blood sage.. I think… can’t remember exactly what she said but that it adds an extra layer of protection. So again a card or something to tell you what the item is and such details after you have left the shop would be great.

Rose changed my life.I came to Rose on a recommendation from a friend, with no idea what I was getting into or what reiki even was. I was blown away during the first session, and had to come back. I have been seeing her weekly for 7 months now, and she has helped me work through inner child healing, communicate with my spirit guides, balance my chakras, work through past life traumas, and connect with my spirit. Working with Rose mitigated the struggle I was having managing an unhealthy anxiety and debilitating panic attacks. The time I spent with Rose became the reset button my life needed. Rose definitely knows her stuff. I had many questions about her practice and about her abilities and she answered all of them wholeheartedly and honestly. I had a full session with her that included a chakra cleansing and it was truly eye opening. I have experienced miraculous and quick changes both internally and in my life circumstances during the Freedom Power Process with Cathie. I’ve stopped in a couple of times and recently attended one of their psychic / healing fairs. The space is lovely and has a warm charming vibe. Michelle the founder is very welcoming – as are all of the practitioners. There are opportunities to rent the space for various classes. They run classes and hold meetings for tarot and astrology, etc. You can check out some of these offerings on Meetup.com where you will find a group under the same name as the shop. For the psychic /healing fairs, most of the treatments and readings are $1 a minute with most timed at $20. It’s a great way to try various modalities for a comfortable price.

Jane is a gifted and effective energy clearer. I have used Jane’s services twice to clear my business (and all spaces and properties associated with it) as well as my person. Jane is absolutely among the best of her work. I can barely explain in words how her energy clearings have impacted my life in almost every way conceivable; emotional, physical, financial and on and on. I ordered a LivingSocial deal for a psychic reading from this guy. After weeks of playing phone tag trying to get an appointment with him, i finally was able to schedule an appointment with him. I had to cancel due to weather conditions (i live an hour away from him) I tried over the next two months to reschedule with he. He never returned my calls. I was finally able to get hold of only for him to scream at me that i was harassing him and that I already had me session with him and that i was just trying to get a free session from him and that he calling the police to file an incident report. I told him i never had session with him that i had to cancel it. He told me to take it up with LivingSocial. He had marked me voucher used back in October ( i wasn’t even in town in Oct) and LivingSocial told me that they already had two complaints about him and that they described similar incidents. Apparently, he has done this scam using other coupon places such as Foursquare and Amazon. Do not purchase anything having to do with this man he crazy and not worth the drama. I though this would a fun experience but all it did was leave me with headache. BEWARE!!!!!
