Dawn Lynn is wonderful. I had a 60 minute reading that was entirely stunning, and very helpful. She has a great, warm energy and there was not a dull moment!On the practical side: it was very easy to make an appointment online. I think her prices are very reasonable. She sent out a reminder prior to the appointment and included very precise directions which made it easy to find her. Her reading room was very comfortable, and I felt at ease immediately. Jaime is amazing and the real deal. I had several readings with her. There was this high level soulmate that I was following. He is a friend but I knew there was something off. She asked and was told that he was leading me to someone else. This new person was a strong past life love. She was right. All the signs and crazy synchronizations happened a couple of months later. When I met this new person, I recognized his eyes. She reads Tarot beautifully but doesn’t need the cards to deliver messages. She also helped me get out of my head. I’ve been going to Karyn for over 8 plus years. From the first time I got a reading with her, she has been accurate! She provided me with names and details which blew me away.I once asked her about my cousin who got murdered, providing his name and her reply was who is “…” (name not mentioned in review due to privacy purposes)…I was blown away bc that person was his father and brother; both having the same name (one Sr and one Jr). What I like most about her readings is that she is pretty detailed. It may not make sense at that time- so what I would do is keep a journal of names and things she may say and look back from time to time. Some people and events she discussed 8 years ago are just now surfacing/ occurring. Some have not. But keep in mind due to changes and free will, not everything discussed will occur. It’s what she is able to see during that time of the reading. It doesn’t make her fraudulent. And it upsets me from previous posts made from clients. She’s not God! However I can attest to her providing details and names that have definitely come to surface. And she never steers me wrong…. rather I like to hear it or not, she will provide information that is given to her. A reading is not a blue print of your life, rather cliff notes. Things are subject to change people!She makes you feel very calm and is open to questions….Her staff is friendly and her location is quaint. If you book, book ahead of time because she is very popular and the availability may fill up quickly. My friend has been seeing/using Karen for years. I get a call one day asking if my scheduled surgery had been canceled from her. I told her no. Karen told her that my surgery was canceled, there was a complication. And to stop the bulls***&!! And I know what she’s talking about. I told my girlfriend she’s crazy. 10 minutes later my doctor calls and canceled my surgery. I had a mysterious tumor and had to see a specialist. I was flabbergasted. And that cutting out the Bulls***$..well, I had started smoking again and not taking care of myself well. Detrimental to my health going through this. I knew right away when she said it, and what she meant. I’ve met Karen a few times and been to the taping of her live show 2x. The live show is a fantastic experience. So much energy in the room!! Wasn’t going to include this info but since you responded I will. You told me that I was in a fight with my Mom and haven’t talked to her in years. You kept asking why we didn’t speak and why we we’re fighting. My mom has been passed on for over 4 years. You mentioned my grandma who liked to sew. She never sewed and I feel like that is the most generic thing anyone could ever say about anyone’s grandma. I’m just being honest and saying it was not worth the $200. There are many other things that were not even close to true. Having a bf and he’s thinking about proposing (we’ve been engaged for 2 years). Everyone has a right to their opinion and before someone spends $200, they should know what they’re getting into. So no, I dont think reviewing you how I did was wrong.

Karyn is Incredible! I’ve gone to her, along with other family members, for 8 years. Each visit is incredible in what she predicts to the personal moments she knows about in detail. There is NO making up what she knows. I’ve had personal conversations in my home where she has recounted details, including NAMES of the people who were there! She knew that my daughter would be born very early and have eye issues as well as asthma and she was born at 27 weeks. She also had the health issues she mentioned. She told me my grandfather was in my house with me the day before and that I was talking about renovating our bathroom and the paint colors we were considering. There was only one physical person in my house with me when I had that conversation just the day before! Nothing was posted online about my bathroom nor did I email anyone about it, etc… It was a private conversation in my home that she knew about. She knew that I would a man would end up hitting the back of my truck within a few months. I tried to park farther away from people in parking lots and what happens, 3 months later? A man backed into my truck and cracked the bumper in my own driveway. She said, your grandma says that you just went on a wine tour, does that make sense? YES, I was on a wine tour two weeks previous with my girlfriend. She said, (friend’s name) husband was with you when you were shopping for flowers the other day. He thinks you should have bought the yellow ones. Considering it was in the middle of winter and I was shopping for flowers just 4 days before blew my mind! She mentioned his name, how he passed, his wife’s name and knew the gender of his kids along with many other details. The way she described his personality was spot-on and so him. There really is just too much to write about the great readings I’ve had with her. I’ve never found another medium who compares. Most are lousy or very general in what they say that it could apply to anyone, not with Karyn. Is everything spot on? No, there will be things that don’t make sense or don’t end up happening as we see it but 80% of the reading is factual with the past or predicts the future.

I visited with Karyn yesterday, Tuesday, April 4th, 2017. I had a 45 minute face to face appointment. The cost was $190.00 cash only. When you go online to schedule your appointment (do so now because she’s booked!) you fill out the information needed and you hold your appointment with credit card (only) so if you don’t show up to your appointment, you get charged. Going into the appointment, I was a little anxious but ecstatic to hear what Karyn had to say. The room my appointment was in was a dimly lit room with two comfy recliners. Karyn was so comfortable to be with; super energetic, humorous, kind, comforting, understanding, open and non-judgemental. When she told me the first person who was trying to reach me, my jaw dropped. I am a huge believer in psychic mediums and always have been. For those skeptics out there, I completely recommend making an appointment with Karyn to see for yourself. The things she was telling me…you just can’t make that shit up! I recommend her to everyone- family, friends, strangers, co-workers, you name it! Karyn is such a gifted individual and I am so happy I made the choice to visit with her. This is one of the smaller shops I’ve been to, but it looks like THE place for things like herbs, incense, and tea. I also saw things I’ve never seen anywhere else like fossilized shark teeth, petrified wood, and rocks with fossils. My son picked out a couple of magnetic hematite crystals.Service is friendly and helpful.

Absolutely love this store. Nice little space with an assortment of candles, jewelry, incense, books, teas, herbs, oils, and more. The staff is incredible friendly and helpful. Whether you’re running in quickly and know what you need or you need a little help drawing out an idea, they’re always happy to help. The owner, Onyx, is also always willing to help when she’s there and she does tarot readings, among other things. They also run classes and events. Definitely a lovely shop to visit regularly.

Strange Brew is a lovely little store. Onyx does such amazing work both as the owner and as a tarot reader. The herbs in the store are interesting and varied, the essential oils can be mixed to your liking, and there are even little handmade fairy houses that are amazingly crafted. I’ve been coming to this store since I was a teen and, though it’s changed locations, I’ve loved every time I’ve gone in. I find this particular location to have the best decor and open space. I went in the other day to buy some bundled sage. I just moved about a block away, so I wanted to purify my new apartment by doing something called smudging, which is essentially burning sage throughout your new living area. Onyx greeted me immediately, as did her assistant. She was the one who led me around to the different types of sage while Onyx put some new merchandise out on the shelves. I’m worried about essential oil burning arpund my cat as I’ve heard it makes them sick, so Onyx researched which ones have adverse effects. Overall, Strange Brew is an original and interesting metaphysical store. I’m so glad I had the chance to go visit. I recommend this place to anyone who has to pick up some staples or is just wondering about their spirituality and wants answers (they have a great book selection). Give it a chance…you’ll probably find exactly what you’re looking for!

I have heard about Strange Brew since I was a teenager, but only recently started going there just before Charmaine (I apologize if I spelled that wrong), but instead started going there for my spiritual needs and for essential oils and herbs. The first time I went I met Onyx the new owner and she is a wonderful woman and spiritual advisor of sorts. The store is amazing. It contains jewelry, religious artifacts, books on spiritualism and so much more. I know the old shop did tattoos and piercings, but contacting Strange Brew would be the best way of finding out. I find that Strange Brew is a great place to just go and look around. It is very calming and fun to hang out and talk with the people there.

Knowing The Owner Helps… That Said, Onyx is a wonderful Women, took over the business for the original family. The shop has change location as well, but much remains the same, welcome them in and feel the magick. Herbs, Charms and Curious Goods. If you need items for magick, the Brew might have it, if not the ladies will help you as best as they can. ive been here a few times and each time i become more and more in love… today a friend & i came in after thrifting. we met tara, a psychic who was conducting readings. we decided to get readings and oh boy, are they accurate… i love the vibes and atmosphere of the place, especially the kitties that i see around the store. there’s a huge selection of crystals, tarot, basically everything. they’re bound to have what you are looking for. the cost varies depending on object. some cheaper, some more expensive. each visit ive gotten a bracelet and they are on the lower end of price compared to some other places. same with tarot decks. i really recommend checking out their psychic readings they have on wednesday and they also have tarot practice classes available. a super, chill and helpful place for newbies and even more advanced individuals.

I was in your store, July 6, 2023, with my family from Las Vegas that collects crystals, we spent over $100 there, I bought a bracelet with a third eye, it was 14.95, exactly one week later, it started to unravel, never got wet, took it off every night, again one week later, I went back to the store, and just asked the lady for an exchange, I was answered with we don’t exchange or refund anyone on jewelry, I then asked the store clerk if I could have the companies name that makes the jewelry I will email them myself she went back and looked, and came back with, I have no idea who the company is? what kind of business are they running? I will never enter that store again, and anyone in town or coming into town, I will tell them to steer clear of it very bad business!

First of all, there wasn’t a shop cat the last time I visited so that alone warrants a star increase. Cats and magical goods?Match made in heaven.Apparently there’s actually a couple of shop cats, but we only saw the ginger today. What a mellow little sweetie. Also, the shop had a warmer vibe than my first visit, and not just because of the feline greeter (she was, after all, snoozing in a beam of sunlight). While some prices seem a bit high, the crystal spheres are actually less expensive. Had I not settled on a rose quartz heart elsewhere that nicely fits in the palm of my hand, I might have gotten a sphere here that was between 2 and 3 inches in diameter and a reasonable $99 relative to higher prices I’d been quoted elsewhere. What I really want now is the clear quartz sphere with natural ‘flaws’ producing beautiful rainbows, but I’ll need to come back later, and hope there’s one in stock. Also reasonably priced, but not in the budget.I had a little more sticker shock at a small obsidian cat so you still want to do your research, but this shop is a must visit, especially now that even more fun stores filling different niches have joined the block since my last visit.

Store has broken crystals; could not find one that was not chipped. Prices are way over the top expensive and associates have no clue what stone or crystal does what. They were of no help. This place is a dump; dirty and dusty everywhere. Go elsewhere for your stone and crystal needs. Owner is extremely rude.

Updated : I absolutely needed to update my review to a 5 star review . From the best selection of tarot cards , to a very large assortment of incense , crystals and perfume oils – I am in awe of the selection . Not only is the selection of items fantastic , The shop has such a calm , warm , welcoming vibe , that I want to hang around longer than it takes to pick up my items . The house kitties are so sweet as well . A great place to stop and pick up a gift for yourself or a friend .

This metaphysical shop is small but full of surprises. Lots of great items, including things I’ve never seen anywhere else like ceramonial knives carved out of crystal.I picked up a set of runes carved out of rose quartz. I’ve only seen similar on Amazon, so I was thrilled to buy mine locally instead. There’s even crystal carved into popular Pokémon, and a lot of books, herbs, candles, and tarot sets.The shop cat Trixie is shy. Service is helpful and friendly.

Everyone who works here is extremely kind and knowledgeable. The selection is fantastic for its small space and the owner orders both locally and nationwide. Every time I go in, they have something interesting and new. My friend even taught a class here about Asatru (Norse paganism) and it wasn’t too expensive. There are a lot of interesting classes taught here by all sorts of folks in the community. The best part, though, is how welcoming the staff is. They are all so sweet and caring. Liz is my favorite, however. She always greets me when I come in and asks me how I’ve been. Sometimes, the patrons and staff just sit together, enjoying each other’s company and teaching different approaches to finding the divine. I love how involved in the community this shop is!I’ve bought many different crystals, oils, herbs, and other ephemera from them over the years. Everything is great quality and usually locally sourced. I highly, highly recommend you come here, whether you want to learn, grow, or just find pretty, shiny things that nurture your crow brain. I like to walk here on nice days, but if you have to drive, fly, or sleigh to this wonderful store, then that’s pretty cool too! Say hi to everyone for me, I’ll probably already be there when you come in.

Owner is a very knowledgeable person who goes out of her way to help you out. There’s a nice sitting area in front of the shop where you can talk and do tarot card readings. The store inventory is varied and priced reasonably. I wish I could get there more often. Only caveat is that they are not open more often.

The staff was knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. Any questions I had were addressed concisely and with an infectious enthusiasm. Upon entry, there was a lovely calming effect that accompanied myself and my companions. We browsed and there was ample space for us and the other patrons, while also making sure every item on display got a spotlight. I would highly recommend it for anyone who likes to support local artists, or who wants to explore a new hobby. I look forward to the next time I go and may make it a biweekly thing.

If you’re confused about whether ot not Dragonfly Art & Soul is a hair and nail salon, or a metaphysical shop, it’s all of the above. It’s in a cute little “home” with pretty murals and several rooms to explore. I came for one of their gem and rock shows. Their selection of crystals and jewelry is huge. So many crystals I haven’t seen elsewhere, both tumbled and uncut. They also sell lots of jewelry, figurines, etc.Service is great. I came after a rat’s follow-up with her vet in Clarence Hollow (no exotics vets in our neck of the woods) so I had her with me in a cute little bag, and she was a welcome visitor.Plenty of parking.

Visited the store today I walked in and there was a wonderful vibe! The selection was amazing to! They had a lot of things that the stores I go to back home didn’t have so I was really happy with that. They had a class going on and the laughter and positivity energy was amazing. I got some blue lotus flower sage and two palm stones for only 35 dollars! A great deal and the two palm stones were only $5 each! The lady was really helpful and even gave me a few suggestions for a couple local restaurants! There is also a salon which was a little awkward to walk through when someone was getting there hair done but besides that everything was amazing! Definitely try it out if your looking for a new place to try out!

Finally a place I feel comfortable at! I met Sarah, the owner, at a networking event purely based on her hair. She had purple and blue highlights in an edgy bob cut, so I went up to her and raved about how much I loved her hair. That’s how I found out she owns her own salon and she gave me her card. I made an appointment and was able to sneak in when someone cancelled. It’s on Main Street in Clarence, just off Transit, so it’s pretty far out of my way, but I can’t find a place that really gets me and based on Sarah’s look alone I thought it was worth the drive. The staff was friendly and they’re focused on making certain you have a great experience. I filled out a questionnaire regarding my personal preferences and turned it in. Then the assistant took me to wash my hair, and they use only organic and vegan products. Sarah cut my hair and she was great as she actually listened to what I want, which is to grow out my pixie cut. I had previously gone to a salon close to my house that I liked before, but then I got a woman who totally ignored my request and I felt she kind of butchered my hair, and it had finally grown out again to a manageable point, and Sarah was careful to listen to what I wanted and trimmed my hair accordingly. We chatted animatedly and I had a wonderful time with her! She did a great job cleaning up my look and I can’t wait to go back to her and get some color in it! Dragonfly definitely knows what’s going on. Whether you’re looking for an edgy look or a clean look, the stylists there can do it. They rock!

I love this place …the staff and owners are warm, friendly and inviting. Sarah is a MASTER at hair coloring. I won’t let another stylist touch my hair. Natural hair products, Vegan Hair Products …she has something for EVERYONE. Are you getting married ? Need a girls spa day ? Bachelorette makeover party ? I have been going to Josh for a little while now. Most of the time I get a cut and color and every single time I walk out absolutely loving my hair. He is a perfectionist and always makes sure the cut and color is exactly how I want it! I love that he takes his time with everything he does and makes sure we are both on the same page before starting. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!!

I had my hair done at the studio by Josh. Professional and personable, Josh is also extremely meticulous. He paid attention to every detail and really worked with me on the cut and color I was looking for. He’s very honest and will explain what will and won’t work with your hair with knowledge to back it up. When we were done, I felt amazing. I had gotten a more “edgy” cut, which I feel not many stylists are as skilled with. He really went above my expectations and I would recommend him to any one looking to freshen up their look!

One of the hazards of relocation is finding your trusted people and places. The car mechanic, the best cheapie restaurant, the best bargain shopping, the best loaf of bread…For a woman, a salon usually trumps all of the above – just, because it does. With gratitude and no small amount of relief I happened to meet Sarah, the owner of Dragonfly and a gifted colorist/stylist. Amazing atmosphere, comfortable and clean but NOT sterile – just a great vibe, tons of natural light and a blessed calmness infused with positive energy. The home-turned-salon is also a retreat of sorts with a lot of fascinating activities and classes scheduled frequently – including yoga, readings, and services with pets! And my hair? How she coaxed out of it what she did is an absolute mystery, but I know I’ll not need to ask because whatever it is she does she will be doing on my head for as long as we are both around!I threatened to set up a tent in the backyard come spring. I think she though I was kidding….
