Amazing atmosphere and vibes in this shop! Me and my group came here this past weekend to celebrate Halloween and we wanted to get tarot card readings and find a piece of jewelry here. We all got crystal bracelets and readings. My reading with Michelle was amazing. She was very blunt and upfront and I love that personality, I knew she was tuning in and needed the space to speak what she was reading in the moment so I let her do her thing and when she was finished we had a brief conversation of everything. I won’t go too much into detail but I gave her no information prior to the reading and her reading was spot on and honestly something I needed to hear. I’m a very open-minded person and loved this experience. I saw some negative reviews of her readings on here, but I really recommend her! My other two friends did readings with her as well and loved her! With all that being said I also have to give a shout out to Tisha, Jai, and Ricky in addition to Michelle. Y’all were amazing and so positive and fun to talk with/be around. Totally made this trip amazing for me and my friends

I had a tarot reading with Dina and I was shocked at how spot on she was. Not only did she know my profession right when I sat down, but she even gave acute details of the subject matter I teach. Dina was fun, encouraging, and so insightful in her reading. If you’re in NOLA I highly recommend getting a reading by Dina!The shop is also lovely with so many crystals and stones to choose from at pretty affordable prices. And the staff are so nice and knowledgeable and provide you with information cards for the crystals you choose. Overall, Dina and Earth Odyssey were the highlight of my trip!

We visited NOLA for a girls trip (the majority of the group it was our first time). We wanted to experience a taro reading and didn’t want to do one on the side of the street with everyone drunk everywhere. (Not to say we don’t enjoy the buzz and energy of the city – it’s fabulous, but not what we wanted for our reading) we booked a group reading with Claire – wow she was impressive! She made us feel comfortable, we didn’t give her any information to start off with, she really showcased her ability to connect what she was sensing and feeling to each of our situations. She provided so much insight into our cards and lives, I was personally moved. 20/10 would recommended any day! I truly wish we could connect via zoom because I wouldn’t want to refer to anyone else after working with Claire.Ricky helped us tremendously as well! He was extremely knowledgeable on the crystals and stones. He helped us look at solid jade bracelets, gave us a ton of insight on the different kinds of jade, and topaz. He gave us so much information and was so friendly. Fun fact – it was his birthday and our friends! Emma was amazing in checking us out and scheduling our appointments, so sweet and friendly!The energy of Earth Odyssey NOLA was incredible, peaceful, but motivating and inspiring. My only sadness is not being able to visit more often!

My mother and I received a tarot reading today (06/03) by two different people. My reading was done by a lady who was very kind and insightful. My mother on the other hand got a tarot reading down by Michelle. My mother sat down and the first words out of the tarot readers mouth was that she should be sober for these things. My mother was completely sober and was stunned she would even assume that. She said she was not intoxicated and felt uncomfortable by that comment and the reader told my mother not to tell her how to do her job. My mother sat there quietly and continued with the reading. My mother brought up a similarity between two of the cards and Michelle told her not to talk during her reading. My mother was in shock of the aggressiveness she was receiving during what was supposed to be a great experience. Michelle made the reading a miserable time for her and my mother has gotten several readings done before and nothing compares to this.My mother did end up paying for the service which frankly she shouldn’t have. I’m disgusted and disappointed by Earth Odyssey and the people that they employee. I would not recommend a single person to go to that business let alone have a reading with Michelle unless you want to feel humiliated. Disgusting behavior by someone who practices such an art.

The store is beautiful but my reading with Isabella was awful. I have one tarot reader that I go to consistently for years who is amazing but I was visiting New Orleans and I thought why not get a reading here for fun. It was the worst reading I’ve ever had. Very general. Nothing hit home at all. And she kept picking cards looking at them and setting them aside/drawing new cards. I know enough about tarot cards to know that this is not how it’s done. She also said that I’m already in a relationship but I’ve been single for years. She also writes down your birthday and continues writing for the first few minutes of the reading. And hides what she is writing behind a stack of tissues. Do not get a reading here. Better off getting a reading on one of the corners on bourbon street

This voodoo shop is in the French Qtrs. I’m so glad I found it and did not have to pay for admission at another Voodoo Museum. You can make an appointment ahead to have your tarot cards read or psychic reading or Voodoo Unhexing. I bought an unhexing kit for $10 to give to a friend. There Aren’t any Voodoo practicers in Seattle. I only also Psychic Readers and Healers. They have examples of different Voodoo Altars. A Giant Voodoo Doll for a drawing display was even at Harrah’s Casino. The fictional stories and movies on Voodoo are all about negative Witch Drs. who stick pins in dolls. Real Voodoo is the opposite. It’s used to bless a house, the park, new shop, etc. You have to look at the You Tube videos of the Healers. I did not know much about Voodoo before going to Nola. But I learnt a lot on the Ghost and Vampire tour at the French Tour.

Had a wonderful experience at the store. There was a very popular and well known place I went to but that seemed more like a place you go for souvenirs.This store however felt very authentic and filled with energy. The back of the store had items for sale but also alters for the lwa. I did make quite a few purchases here and wish I would have scheduled a reading.

Authentica was our favorite Voodoo/witchery shop that we visited during our stay in New Orleans. They had ingredients that you could purchase that none of the other shops we visited had. You can tell that the shop is very popular because when we visited, it was pretty crowded, and rightfully so. The shop had 3 rooms, the first room where you enter had a few things such as candles, books, pendulums, etc. The room immediately to the left had a space for readings, shelves of jarred ingredients, and more. The back room I thought was the most interesting because they had all kinds of different dolls, altars, and other unique items with a little bit of a description. Definitely check this shop out.

Such a cute witchy store. They also have a psychic, which my friend did, and she said everything checked out. There’s a lot of stores like this when you walk around NOLA, some having more crystals than others, some having more candles, etc. this one I would say is definitely more witchy than others, there’s even a corner where they have blank spell books. Highly recommend!

Such a cool spot! They have a ton of metaphysical items such as candles, crystals, incense, books, voodoo dolls and more! This was right up my alley since I’m into “spooky” stuff. I can’t speak on the legitimacy of the products if you wanna do some real witchcraft, but I’m sure the store clerks would know. I grabbed two candles for home decor, which were under $10…so it’s very affordable imo. I also got a couples psychic reading done here by Mimi which was a very great first experience! Mimi was personable, honest and on point with everything she said. Would def revisit to get another reading done when I’m back in New Orleans. Worth visiting!

Cute shop with a variety of different New Orleans staples — tarot cards, bundles of sage and other herbs, magic books, jewelry and stone pendants. The tarot selection is pretty solid, as is the jewelry, though much of it is sold out and hasn’t been restocked. They carry cutesy voodoo dolls, too, if you’re looking for something like that to take home.

When visiting New Orleans, it’s a must that you experience some of the culture behind African voodoo. There are a few different stores around the French Quarter, but Hex was one of my favorites that we visited! Hex is located in both Salem, MA and New Orleans. Inside, you’ll find all kinds of different items to check out. Voodoo dolls, spell books, incense…. and that’s just to name a few! It was very fascinating getting to see things that I have never seen anywhere else. They also do readings here if you are looking to get one done! Everyone working here was really nice!

I had a great evening History tour thanks to David Lord and I think you would too.”What had happened was…” it was all about “Women and the Magic of the French Quarter” and it took us on a leisurely stroll around the lower river-side quadrant of the French Quarter, which began with a plunge backwards in time to the period of the Houma nation and chronologically moving forward, showcasing the familiar stories about women like Marie Laveau, Madam Lalaurie, and Mary Oneida Toups while defining the magic (both good and bad) that they brought to the New World and how it shaped this unique cultural blend of New Orleans,He showed us the magic already all around us, with the enthusiasm and depth of interest that can only come from many years of reading, study and interest. I would highly recommend taking this tour because, despite David’s charmingly gruff rock-and-roll demeanor, he is an excellent storyteller, group leader, and purveyor of occult history. The last tour I went on was years ago, and I had forgotten how nice a stroll through the Quarter on a warm spring evening could be, especially while getting the inside edition of stories you only thought you knew. It was positively scandalous, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Message David Lord @lorddavidskullclub on Insta next time and take his tour while its still beautiful outside!

My husband and I loved this shop on our NOLA trip. We stopped by twice. The customer service was warm, welcoming and helpful. I found the cutest candle holder and tea set to add to my collection. Ended up packaging it in our carry on and stuffing our luggage, had to pay an extra $100 for being over the weight limit for our baggage but it was totally worth it. I love love love my tea set.

A unique shop that has a lot to offer.I was just looking to sit down and sip on a good cup of tea, I was not aware they had tarot card readings or book readings. I would have to say they definitely take the tarot card readings seriously here; they have individual comfortable rooms for these readings and several of them. You will find plenty of room to sit at a table and sip on a cup or two of tea, they have a decent selection of tea with a decent selection of condiments. Obviously, they have plenty of metaphysical gifts to shop for as well. Cheers!

What better to do when in NOLA than figure out your fortune and future? A gal pal and I came here to get our tea leaves read and tarot cards as well. Word to the wise, you’ll need to call ahead and make reservations. All-in-all it was an okay experience. The manager was nice and the psychics did their thing. Came here for my first tea reading with my BFF and sister-in-law. Had a little trouble booking — their phone system wasn’t working, so we reached out via DMs on Instagram, but didn’t have any luck there either. Eventually, we just walked in, made appointments, and did some shopping to keep busy until it was time for our readings. The staff was nice enough, but we didn’t really get much out of the readings considering the time an expense, but it was a neat experience none the less. They have several little reading rooms where they record your session so you can take a CD home with you. Little dated on the technology, but it was cool to have a little keepsake to reference later. When we tried to play them back at home, my sister-in-law discovered that her recording hadn’t worked, so that was a bit disappointing. While you wait, there are tables and tea available for you to sit. There are also the standard trinkets — gemstone necklaces, tarot cards, and other items to browse.

This was my first-ever tea reading and it was a cool experience, but it also fell short in some ways. The reading was supposed to be 10 minutes but it felt rushed and lasted around 5 minutes with the guy rambling at me the whole time. I wasn’t really sure of the protocol so the things he talked about seemed a little general, especially when it came to life experiences and advice about what to do. I was offered a complimentary cup of tea which was nice, but for $35 I’m not sure I would come again just for a tea reading.

If you want to go to book a reading, call ahead and book someone! You can have tea leaves or coffee grounds read, tarot cards, auras, palms, you name it!I enjoy different types of readings, but had never had my leaves read before so I decided to go for my birthday this year. I only booked for 10 minutes, because that seems more than suffice. And it was! Of course there were some things said that I just took note of but didn’t sound right, but there were some many things that were so great to hear (both cautionary and congratulatory) and you get a CD recording of the whole thing (although they also let you record on your phone if you’d like). Definitely a great experience, and I will happily return. Truth up front, my best friend went with me and she had a “horrible” experience with her person and wished she had someone else. It could be very case dependent, but go in with an open mind. I had a blast and I’m sure you will, too!

I went to two different psychics while I was in New Orleans. I stopped at Bottom of the Cup for a quick 15 minute reading that was about $30 and I have to say that it was so incredibly impressive. This was my first time ever doing a tea reading. It was so much fun. My reading was very accurate as far as the confirmation I received about myself and loved ones. I will write another review in a few months on how accurate the rest was but I have a feeling that the rest will come true. So much detailed information! This is a great place for a fortune telling.

Ive had psychic readings in the past. This was the worst reading i have ever had. Do not go here. The chubby chick with light brown hair (she didnt even have her name on her card) gave me the most generic reading ever. I was supposed to get a tea cup+palm and only got teqcup. None of it resonated with me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

I’ve been to Bottom of the Cup Tea Room twice. Our last visit was in January 2023. I would caution anyone who wants to be a consumer there to think twice. The manager/owner who is a middle aged white woman with brown hair and wears glasses is the problem. In short, the morning of my appointment, they couldn’t find me in the system as they just changed platforms. Manager asked if she could rebook me and that if I was double charged (I already paid via online) that she would credit me back. I agreed to the terms and paid, again. Fast forward, credit statement shows an overcharge. I contact the business and speak to Leo, who says that he will pass my message along to the manager. To this day, I have made several calls and emails with zero communication from the manager. I submitted my credit card statement with proof of the overcharge and no response. It’s apparent that her struggling business needed my extra $70 than I do. Fine, I’ll chalk that up to a charitable deed. However, my biggest issue is that this person has absolutely no business being a manager/owner. My first clue was the way she interacted with her own staff– which was dismissive and rude. Turns out she treats everyone like that. I feel for the staff there. Better places to visit in the Quarter…check out Hex, Voodoo Bone Lady or Earth Odyssey.

I am in love with The Apothecary! This place is owned by the same people who run Boutique de Vampyre and Vampire Cafe. If those two places are your type of scene, you will adore this place as much as I do.My friend and I came in for dinner and were in awe of how beautiful the decor is in this restaurant and bar. We ordered the baked Brie appetizer to start. It came with amazing rosemary focaccia bread that was warm and crispy. We each ordered a panini- I got the duck panini and it was the perfect mix of bold and savory. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate cakes, which was basically an ice box pie that melted in your mouth.The service here was phenomenal. There is also a psychic that works during the evening. She was very sweet and came to introduce herself and offer her services. You can even get a reading at your table. I will be bringing more of my friends back to this place the next time I’m in the city!

We went in late night it looked fun and interesting but our sever as well as our drinks were an acquired taste to say the least. My friend ordered a dirty martini with 3 olives and he asked her how to make it but then brought her a basil infused martini (it wasn’t a martini but just )with 3 olives the soda i ordered was flat even the server acknowledged that when I asked for something else “oh yea it’s been flat all day” … so I got a lemonade and well just think murky lemon dish water. So no thanks. We canceled our food order and left … the manager was nice enough to at least come ask what was wrong and got us our check. We ended up getting pizza and carbonated soda

The ambiance is beautiful if spooky witchcore is your thing. Our server Brandon was friendly and efficient even when it seemed like the owner/supervisor was taking digs at him. Our group of 5 had no wait to secure a table and the recommendations made were in point! I had the bloodiest Mary as it’s the spicy version and a muffuletta panini.

Come here for the drinks pass on the food. When being in the French Quarters there are many many options when it comes to grabbing a drink and I am so happy we stopped here twice! During the night AND the day they had seating available and very friendly servers. As mentioned by others the interior is amazing and they stick to the Vampire theme very well. They have a number of drink options as well as food. All the drinks are amazing, but I was very unimpressed with the food- Stuffed Mushrooms – I think I was expecting a couple stuffed mushrooms but there was just one medium size one – ok no problem. The flavor? there was none. The whole dish was very dry AND expensive for what it was. They have two bathrooms that are very clean and just like the seating area – amazingly decorated. Overall I would come back again – must try their berry coconut water!!!The price for the food was definitely on the expensive side.

This place is directly across from Pat O’Briens and it’s still near the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. Once we got inside, we felt like it was a nice, quiet, classy restaurant. They are open late along with the other surrounding restaurants, but you can actually sit down and have a meal in comparison to the pizza slices they sell off of Bourbon Street. They do offer a special sangria called the Fangaria that you can sip and take along with you on your journey. I thought that was something cool and unique they featured. The food was good- I just thought it was over priced for the whole experience. If the food could’ve been slightly better, I wouldn’t have felt so bad about the high prices.

Even the bathroom is beautiful!Chef Chris curated a menu with an emphasis on apothecary and the cocktails pay homage to sister restaurant Vampire Cafe. Much like the decor, the dishes are beautifully presented. The charcuterie is delivered in an iron birdcage. Mom & I shared the truffle popcorn and crab & lobster stuffed Portobello mushroom. The popcorn was very tasty. Lightly dusted with truffle powder. It was addicting. The mushroom was amazing! Chunks of fresh lobster & crab topped with gooey melted cheese sitting on a bed of soft & tender Portobello.We also had martinis, which are $4 during Happy Hour with purchase of an appetizer. While in New Orleans we had to stop to check out this bar and restaurant down in the French Quarters. Noah behind the bar was so helpful and friendly and Andrea our bartender was the best . Tiki Hubby had to try the blood bag. A yummy Vodka drink or sangria served in an IV bag. Also had a nice red wine. We had eaten earlier or would have been a nice place to try the food.

I will give this place 5 stars for ambiance – the place is so cute. It’s quaint and beautifully decorated and has a fantastic indoor patio with exposed brick. I’ll also give it five stars for the cocktails and food. The stuffed mushroom fed six of us and was delicious. The Duck Pastrami Panini was OMG. Anything with fig (have you read my reviews? I LOVE ANYTHING FIG) is incredibly delicious. This panini was soooo good. The hummus is really good here, too. Five stars for amazing service by Elario. They were so fun and attentive to our party. Watching them mix the liquor into The Alchemist cocktail so it turned purple? Very cool! The only thing that was negative was one of our party ordered the rockfish and it took almost an hour to arrive at the table. This was after everyone had finished their meals and drinks. They made it right by bagging it to go and comping it. It was nice of them to handle it that way. Very cool place, cool vibe, cool servers and excellent food.

It was my first trip to New Orleans, and one of my must haves was a psychic reading. I’ve visited R.C. Crow twice for Tarot readings at Glass Magick. He has a warm demeanor, and his readings are fast-paced (allowing you to ask, many, many questions). What stood out to me was the consistency of my readings; my two visits were about a year apart, and yet the same cards kept coming up. If you’re wondering what to expect, the first part is a quick summary of your life so far, then you have an opportunity to ask about specific topics. Do a bit of thinking beforehand to maximize your experience. If you’re unfamiliar with Tarot, you should format your questions like “What do I need to know about ___” as opposed to a yes or no question.

What can I say, many do not believe in power of healing and foresight but when I sought out out just a simple solid reading I was drawn to Royce in the cluster of readers and healers in Jackson Square… Not only is he spot on in his reading but he has the gift of authenticity and humbleness first and foremost. What I most enjoyed meeting him is how grounded he is as a person and how real he is about what is laid out in front of you, he went above and beyond in spiritual guidance with referring others who could better assist me with perspective as well as meditative and cleansing advice in areas he felt they would benefit me better. I never fed him information in my reading and every time he was spot on. I left feeling a sense of clarity and overall positive energy after having sat with him for a quite a while and still feel a sense of relief back home in Los Angeles. Royce is the real deal and makes himself accessible even when afar. It is great to meet overall authentic people, just willing to make an individual find peace and perspective, definitely drop by to see him.

I finally went to see Royce after reading his Yelp reviews and following him on Facebook for a couple of weeks and I am so thankful that I did! He is an incredibly talented reader and was so easy to chat with. I had both a palm reading and my tarot cards read and Royce nailed both my personality and many things that have or are currently happening in my life. He was incredibly specific in his details and not vague like many of the other readers I’ve been to over the years. For example, he told me I would have three major relationships in my lifetime and not only told me at what age my first one ended and how, but also gave me a timeline between the first and second and the second and third: 100% accurate. I still can’t believe how detailed and precise he was, but I will definitely go see him again and recommend others do to if they would like some insight or spiritual advice.

My wife and I were strolling one night in Jackson Square. She had been a reader many years ago and now owns a metaphysical shop. Let me start off by saying that I am a huge skeptic. I’ve seen and read a few articles and documentaries about how people in this industry use cues like body language and pieces of conversations to make generalizations about someone and seemingly be able to predict or tell them about what’s going on in their present / future. Given all that I’ve read and seen, I was totally blown away by Evaine and her reading. I sat at the bar with my girlfriend for about ten minutes before we decided to each get our own readings. After picking my Tarot cards Evaine told me what she saw. She was 100% accurate in what was going on in my present and what I had been mulling over for my future. I got goosebumps with each sentence that came out of her mouth. I had not spoken to this lady about any of what she said, not in conversation and certainly not in body language. Here she was….reading it aloud to me. She was so specific and on point. The details she provided could not have been some sort of “trick”. After my reading I felt assured that my plans for the future would be well worth the risk involved. On top of giving a highly accurate reading, Evaine was very pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommend that you get a reading from her, especially if you are a skeptic. Be prepared for an eye opening experience.

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Anna’s Erzulie’s Authenthic Voodoo store last week and meeting her employee Julie. I was looking for something very specific and not only found it but had a really engaging, genuine and educational conversation. I love New Orleans…the spiritual energy that lies in the ether and the sleepy history…and this store absolutely channels a lot of the paralleled procurements. Let’s just say I will be shopping here again! I ordered the Fast Luck and Road Opening Gris Gris bag, from Erzulie’s, on Friday night. I emailed Erzulie’s right after I placed my order to say how terrible my boss was (gave my boss’ first name) and that I’ve been looking for a new job for over 5 months – so whatever they could do to expedite my much needed order would be greatly appreciated. They replied quickly (check your spam/junk email) to let me know everything is handcrafted AND they would ship it out Saturday. I received my order Monday (from NOLA to Chicago, wow!!) with my mail. Yesterday my horrible boss left me alone, the whole day! This morning, before work, I started to activate my Gris Gris Bag with the supplied oil and powder, and wrote my list per the instructions. Today that same boss did not add any tasks to my already overwhelming list. As a matter of fact, they said they would be taking away some work they had “temporarily” given me 4 months ago. I’m so excited. Now I can find my new job and leave on good terms. I will continue activating my Gris Gris Bag and I cannot wait to see what happens next!Thank you Anna!+Love and peace+

First time ever visiting a Voodoo store and it was interesting, lots of selection and I learned a lot more about energy, intention and a variety of products. I bought 2 items that I haven’t had an opportunity to use but am excited to try it when I have some quiet time set aside. I will write an updated review after my experience with those 2 items.

This is perhaps one of my favorite stores in New Orleans. I originally stumbled across it years ago and now make it my destination stop every time I am in the city. Their selection is amazing. The quality second to none. Over the years the majority of my altar has come from this store. Piece by piece. I highly recommend people to stop into this store and take a bit to learn about voodoo. The staff has always been stellar and absolutely kind.

First to review this store that I haven’t been able to forget since I last visited four long years ago? OH YES!!I used to be a regular patron of Mystic Curio, which was located a few stores down from Erzulies on Royal. RIP Mystic Curio! Four years ago, Erzulies had the last precious stock of oils from Mystic Curio, which I believe closed right around the time of Katrina (I understand the owner is happily retired in Florida).Sadly, the oils no longer exist, and Mystic Curio’s owner remains a cherished memory (he’d pull out an oil to recommend to you after talking to you for just a few minutes…my favorites were Musk Royale, Voodoo Nights, Black Rose and Cleopatra). But Erzulies’ oils deliver! There is a fabulous woman (maybe the owner) who greets you as soon as you pass the threshold. She is there to answer any questions you may have and suggest various fragrances. I think she has a sixth sense and can tell what scent will work for you not unlike the owner of Mystic Curio. There’s a fair amount of variety to choose from, but I zeroed in on my favorite, which I had run out of, as well as a newer oil that she showed me.You can also get readings here as well as various other esoteric needs fulfilled. It need be reiterated that the owner is so friendly and approachable that you feel you can ask any question, no matter how clueless you are. I think it’s important for one to feel comfortable with the occult (rather than frightened, that is). Nothing intimidating here! Pure white magic in the best sense of the word. I have no doubt you will walk out of here just as satisfied as I have been on my past two visits.

What a delight to find such a fun, funky, friendly shop on my recent foray to the Big Easy! They seem to have a little bit of EVERYTHING voodoo . . . From tourist novelty stuff to items probably best reserved for the skilled practitioner. I’ve visited a number of voodoo/occult shops in my travels – Some just obvious “tourist traps” and others where the staff seemed to be eyeing you as a possible sacrifice at their next ritual session. At Erzulie’s everybody was friendly AND knowledgeable about the products they have. If you’re lucky (hmmm, bet they have a potion for THAT) the owner (think her name is Anna) will be there to share her immeasurable insight into the voodoo realm – Besides, she’s an absolute hoot to chat with and she provided us with a ton of New Orleans lore & information not contained in any guidebook!I bought a “Fast Money & Prosperity” gris-gris bag (let you know how it works – SOON I hope!) and my friend picked up a beautiful Marie Laveau’s “Voodoo Love Soap” that smells even prettier than it looks. (The TSA agent gave the soap an “extra thorough” examination, but I really think she just couldn’t bear to put it down after smelling it!)The next time you are strolling the French Quarter I can highly recommend Erzulie’s Authentic Voodoo shop as a worthwhile stop between eating muffalettas and beignets . . . And after all, who couldn’t use a little extra magic in their life occasionally!

I have used Erzulie’s products off and on since 1999/2000 and am always impressed with Anna’s (owner) commitment to high-quality, attention to detail and respectable customer care. This dedication is instilled in her staff, who are always knowledgeable, friendly and timely. Throughout the years, I have used various products, this time around I got, the Cosmic Cleanse Goat Milk Soap, the Love, Passion, Beauty and Healing Peace and Calming Oils and the Love & Passion Candle. I was excited when I got my box in the mail, and all the products arrived in exemplary condition shortly after I placed my order. I did not use any of the products as a part of a ritual or spell. Since the products are already ritualized, they can also be used regularly as you would normally use them for the product to affect changes. I highly recommend reading through Erzulie’s FAQ section on the website for more details. The website’s FAQ provides clear and easy to understand information, description and definitions.Cosmic Cleanse Soap – The hand-made soap bar is huge, lasts a long time and smells great. The bar itself is gorgeous with a fun marbleized effect. I loved looking it at. Made with pure organic goats milk, soothing cocoa butter and a delicate combination of essential oils such as, lemongrass, tulsi, tree oil, jasmine (to name a few of the awesome ingredients) the Cosmic Cleanse Soap provided both aromatic and healing properties that promoted calm, nourished my skin and had a cleansing effect. Love, Passion, Beauty and Healing Peace and Calming Oils – I decided on which to wear each morning depending how I felt and the roller ball applied the oils smoothly and gives a great way to control the amount I would use. The scents are derived from essential oils and are not overpowering, so my friends didn’t smell me before they saw me . The scents last throughout the day and I did not need to re-apply. I cant wait to finish either bottles so I can get the stone that is added to help to help enhance healing vibes.Love & Passion Candle – I use the candle at night to help unwind, and re-energize for the next day. The scent is a light floral with a hint of spice. The candle burns cleanly and did not spatter or smoke. I always enjoyed visiting the Root Queen at her original location but have not been back to New Orleans in quite sometime to visit her current location. I am sure the current location is as mesmerizing, warm and beautiful as the previous location. The moment I walked into her store I felt the positive energy, as staff warmly greeted me. I look forward to visiting again the next time I am in NOLA.

It’s very off-putting to be in a shop where you literally CANNOT touch a single item on the shelves. The caretaker was on constant “repeat” as people walked in, “please do not touch those items” over and over and over. Listening to the constant drone of it was painful and annoying. We learned early that everything in the store is off limits, so we kept our hands to ourselves – but having to listen to the non-stop reprimanding was just uncomfortable in a shopping environment.How about putting all of the “no touch” items in display cases where access requires the shopkeeper? Or maybe REALLY BIG, colorful signs on *each and every case* stating “DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING” (the current signs are very ambiguous and tiny).I appreciate that the items are sacred, and ritually made. But this is after all a retail storefront, not a Voodoo Temple, yes? I found other (just as authentic) shops where the proprietors not only encouraged photos, but allowed handling of the merchandise (noting it would not be “defiled” by such handling). Yes, it is possible to be BOTH authentic AND friendly – and acknowledging that photo taking does not “steal the mojo” from whatever magic you have manifested.Yes, there are other cheesy/touristy voodoo doll shops in the Quarter which are quite lame -but there are also heartfelt, true ones nearby that do not have a laundry list of restrictions in order to shop there.
