I was just looking for some blessing seeds online when I came across their website, and I was pleasantly surprised to see it wasn’t overpriced or overly sensationalized like a lot of Wicca/witchcraft websites tend to be.So while I was at it I bought a few other supplies I’ve been wanting. I was surprised with how fact it came, and the care it was packaged with. Everything was obviously hand-packaged, and very carefully. And at the bottom of the order paper they hand-wrote a thank you. It’s the small details that left me really happy with my order. They’re absolutely going to be my go-to for all future spell supplies, and I’ve already recommended it to my friends.My one complaint is the scrying bowl was dirty. It didn’t take much effort to clean it up though, so no harm no fowl.

If you are looking for herbs for your physical and spiritual needs while at Salem, run to this place. I love the positive light vibe and it is different from other similar places since I feel it is focusing on the eco or “green/hedge” witch unlike other places. The owner and manager are very helpful and it adds to the allure and charisma of this beautiful place. The moment you walk in, you are welcome by bones and beautiful statues of Norse kingdom. I love the Theya goddess statue. I was mesmerized with the rich selection of herbs and little affordable books along with other types of books.

I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was kind of underwhelmed. I’m an herbalist so I was so excited to see this place. It’s feels super exclusive because you can take photos, but it leaves you expecting so much. I’m a sucker for the authentic witchy stuff, but I didn’t buy anything. I wanted to love this place so bad, but think the exclusivity of not being able to take photos makes you think it’s going to be this secret, magical experience. It was beautiful, but … I don’t know man. Just meh.

The vibe in this store is a whole other world. I love it! The baskets, the dried flowers, the moss. It’s just a really great place to be. Pros and cons vary person to person. I can see why some people are upset by no phones out, but I like that no one’s chatting on speaker and talking loud. I did have a list of books I wanted to see if they carried but once I got in I couldn’t remember them and couldn’t take my phone out so next time I’ll bring a handwritten list. I think they don’t want people photographing their displays and copying them, or maybe it’s cause people “shop around” on Amazon for a better price while standing there? I’m sure the rule exists for a reason. Be aware if you go to Salem on Samhain, or ANY of the holy days, they will be closed and have given their employees the day off to celebrate so plan accordingly :)Yes even without phones, and closed on Halloween it’s still a 5 star store, and I was able to find weird things like porcupine quills, deer ribs, wolf bones and more. Worth the wait in line.

This store has a policy of no photograph inside and we respect that. I asked the store manager about this policy and they were pretty friendly and straightforward in answering them. What followed this was a a lot of conversations and a lot of exchange of information. They are a 7 years old shop and they are extremely interested in different symbols of different culture, not just witchcraft, that human being have been used over the centuries of civilization as a symbol of healing. Having this discussion with her made me realize that symbols of men depending on geographical locations are different but they all mean the same and we evolved together.

TLDR: Beware of mites.I used to love the Coven’s Cottage, and would visit every time I was in Salem. I enjoyed the atmosphere and often bought dried flowers and bones (which multiple employees told me were ethically sourced). It was always a pleasant experience.However. I got a pheasant wing from there to place it on display only to realize it was infested with poultry mites. I had it completely isolated in a glass case only to realize it had completely withered away and the shoulder was covered in eggs. I had to throw it (and the box away). If they can’t properly vet their sources for sanitized specimens, I also don’t trust their “ethical” sources anymore.

What a cool shop! I LOVED all of the dried flowers, it was so beautiful and the store smelled amazing. The guy who greeted us was really friendly and helpful. I didn’t end up making a purchase today, but this will always be a stop for me when I am in Salem. It’s more unique compared to the other stores and it makes you feel like you are going back in time.

I was intrigued by the line and decided to go in. I am so glad I did it was the most beautiful and unique store I’ve ever been to! Beautiful greenery hanging from the ceiling. I purchased a cool item to ward off evil spirits. If I’m ever back in Salem I’m going back. The person at the door who let us in was really nice and so was the cashier.

Great store to shop for herbs and dried flowers! The staff are very kind and greatly hospitable. I have to admit I was overall not a fan of Salem, MA. Strange energy weaved through that city but some places shined with a light radiance. This lovely store radiated beauty and love. The items for sale were unique to other stores in the area and not “touristy.” Crossing the threshold was like walking into a secret cottage hidden in a magical forest. Honestly, visiting The Coven’s Cottage and staying at The Daniel’s House Bed & Breakfast is what made my trip to Salem wonderful. I LOVED this store! You must visit if you’re ever in Salem, MA.

Me and my sister Christina and Jaime first met Lori back in May 2010 when she was a the shop called HEX in Salem Massachusetts….. we could t get a reading because it was last minute but we were already drawn to her.we sisters decided to do our sisters getaway back to the Salem area this time in October and all 3 of us got our first readings and OMG unbelievable she had a special gift and had been touched by god!!! I came in on a Saturday and the hostess greeted us and told us it was by appt but that I could come back on Sunday as a walk in if I like. So on Sunday I went back. I can’t think of the name of the gentleman that did by reading (though it was not the owners son), he was awesome. His voice was calm and peaceful. I was allowed to record the audio of my reading which worked perfectly. He was on point with everything in my current situation and am waiting for he future. Nevertheless can truly recommend Magika

My daughter and I both had readings from Lori. She was wonderful! Some of the things she said to me just blew my mind! And she connected even more with my daughter. Lori is very kind, warm and just so uncanny with the way she really gets so much right. The future for my daughter and I Is very bright. One thing she told me was that my bf was going to propose to me sometime next year. Im very skeptic about this but time will tell. I started going to Lori from 2014-2019. Once the pandemic hit, it was hard getting an appointment with her. In 2020, she had surgery but I managed to get a phone reading. Lori has always been a spot on with her predictions. The reason I kept going to her was because I needed answers. I knew something was wrong with me and I needed help. Unfortunately, Lori is not a psychic healer but only a witch. She had no ability to see all the spells my family was doing to me. Some of her predictions would happen, but then I never had peace with everything she predicted. I found myself spiritually attacked, from a school she predicted, a job, lover and an apartment. Whatever blocks/spells I had on me were stronger than what she could offer. Lori is a very positive person and will avoid any negative readings because she doesn’t want to worry or scare you. But I only wish she was more honest with me when it came to certain readings. All her predictions caused me so much stress, anxiety, depression, to an extent of forcing myself out. I remember bringing this to her attention that I was experiencing terrible things, but she still suggested that I give it another try until I couldn’t do it anymore. Too bad she couldn’t see or help with the blocks/spells that were in my way.In 2020, I cancelled my appointment because due to her surgery, she couldn’t make it and suggested that I should see Richard, to which I refused. This ended up a blessing in disguise because I ended up with 3 real psychic healers who were able to actually heal me from everything I was going through. Infact, one of them advised me to never go back to Salem psychics again because they were just witches but not healers. I wish I knew the difference then! I should never have wasted money, time and energy on Psychic witches. These 3 women changed my life and my advise to anyone planning on seeing a psychic, is to please do your research first. Know the difference between healers and witches. Witches will do magic for stuff to forcefully happen and you will never have peace with that. But psychic healers will help you more with anything to do with healing, spells and all that. But it was nice meeting Lori. That was my experience throughout the years and I thought that I could help someone out here to know the difference.

Stopped in Salem Ma and found ourselves drawn to this shop. Had a tarot reading for my birthday and the reader was accurate, supportive and genuine. The store staff was helpful, the merchandise colorful, interesting and I hear magical! Lots to choose from jewelry, books, candles, herbs, potions, charms, beautifully carved brooms, really endless choices for anyone interested in all things witchy. They have events, classes and educational materials to help you learn historical facts, current practices or just to have a new experience. There is nothing scary, though there are things for all levels and varied approaches to the practice. So if your a curious tourist, or a practitioner, stop in when you next visit Salem. I went to Salem spontaneously on our way back from Maine, mainly to get some…grass. However, we stopped by Salem specifically to browse around some witchy shops. HEX was a true shop for all things witchy whether your practice is voodoo, black magic, white magic, etc. This shop has it all. From egg shell powder to potions, there’s something for everyone. This isn’t a shop for people browsing through Salem wanting to mess around with spells. It is not touristy like most of the witchy shops in Salem. This is the real deal and I loved that. It was insanely busy inside and I felt claustrophobic so I didn’t get anything while I was there (though I would have liked to). I will definitely come back to HEX again because this was as real as it gets when it comes to the metaphysical.

This was a cute shop. They had some awesome leather bound books and these great hats! I need one but my head is ginormous. Plus, they had lots of candles and crystals and stuff, like many of the other places. Staff was very nice though distracted by some noise coming from the neighbors. I couldn’t hear it, but it was really bothering them, i guess. I might have to buy a hat, y’all.

I was able to wander into HEX during a rainy day – seems like a story right? The shop itself is on the smaller side, but when I walked into the shop I could see somebody was having a private reading in the window. Unfortunately the day I went they were booked solid until 5 pm and I had somewhere else to be that evening. The store has a lot of inventory, from crystals, to potions, to jewelry and cloaks. Everything was well priced in the inventory and I was able to get some goodies, two pendulums and an evil eye bracelet. The girl working at the cashier said if the bracelet breaks – it means it did it’s job of protecting you from something bad.This is a store that even if you do not buy anything, it is worth the the wander through. However, I think there is something for everybody in this mysterious little shop in Salem.

My partner and I went to Lady Irene last Wednesday, the day after the election. Needless to say a very emotional day and weren’t sure if it was a good day for a reading. But we had the appointment so we went with it.Upon walking in, Lady Irene greeted us with such warmth and a much needed hug. I felt an instant connection with her. She is the real deal. We told her nothing about our lives or what was going on and she hit many points. She saw things that we both are dealing with now and things that happened in the past. At the end of the reading you can ask her questions if you have any. I asked about someone I was very close to that past. All she asked for was a name. After that, she told me things that no one else would know unless you knew us. This absolutely sealed it for me that Irene definitely a has gift. I highly recommend Irene and would go back to her again.

This reading seemed to be a reading just to tell me what I wanted to hear. Lady Irene is very sweet but I didn’t get a lot of specifics.Very vague and positive energy in the way she spoke, but I an not sure if I would go back for a reading.

After reading the great reviews of Lady Irene, I wanted to make an appointment to visit her over the weekend. However, the first issue was after calling several times and leaving a few messages I received no response. It would be understandable if there were no appointments and I received a call back explaining that, but nothing. Second issue, leaving a message. Poor execution for a business. No recording saying “This is Lady Irene…”, no recording saying a decent time to call (mind you I called at 4 p.m.) Extremely poorly run business.I’ll be looking to another psychic to go to in the Salem area that will actually answer a phone.

I have had many readings over the years, this one was unique in that she reads tarot and also coffee grinds after you finish drinking it. It was one of the most special readings I’d had in years. She picked up on things in my personal life that were specific and I hadn’t told her anything except that I wanted to focus on relationships. I also liked that I got to keep a recording which is what most reputable readers will allow, so you can refer back to things she said which may not have made sense when they first were explained. I highly recommend her, go!

I had an unbelievably fabulous reading by Lady Irene yesterday. Her energy is wonderful and contagious!! She is so warm and genuine. I felt very comfortable right away; Irene is amazing in how she knows so much about what I have going in my life that was astounding to me. Her coffee was not only delicious but what she could see made me look forward to what seemed to me an uncertain future. GO, you will be so pleased!!!

She’s the absolute real deal. She has such a positive energy and she’s remarkably in tune with everything. She was on point with so many things and so specific! It was surreal. She’s very honest and you have the option to record the session (which is a great idea when you go back to reference events that have actually come true) this isn’t my first psychic rodeo, and she really is one of the best ones. Well worth it and definitely made the visit to Boston all that much more memorable.

Well I was in need of a reading badly. I have had many in my life and I also AM a tarot reader (I don;t do it professionally – just for family and friends and myself). I have always loved Salem and thought hey, maybe I should look there. I went to yelp to find a reader and read some reviews but kept going back to Kelly and I have to say, it was meant to be. SHE was the one I needed. She was not only sweet and accomodating with a snowstorm going on and being past her normal hours to read me, and doing it in sour of the moment, but she was so down to earth and crazy accurate. She nailed so many things and finally after many readings I was able to get the answers and direction I needed. SHE IS A KEEPER. And she is the real deal and I would send any one to her. As a reader, I know the cards she was pulling and she was amazing and I just can’t say enough wonderful things. SHE TRULY HELPED ME!

I see the world and life differently now. I can’t believe the effect of Sirry sharing her energy, that guides her to read me; has had on me today. My brain is wired different today. Most people read the reviews of Mediums to verify their authenticity. After two sessions with Sirry, (spread out over several years) I can confirm that her gift is authentic. I’ll preface this by saying that I am not skeptical or mediums and the after life. But I am skeptical of potential scams. As you can see by the 5 star review, Sirry was no scam. I booked a session for my mom as a Mother’s Day present. I know she has been into mediums in the past, and also recently needed the guidance to get over some things in the past. Sirry was able to record the session and it has been great to look back on even 24 hours later.The clarity the my mother and I got from our session was incredible and totally eye opening. I’ll even say life changing. The peace of mind, and closure my mother was able to receive was a burden off her chest and soul she won’t have to carry anymore. The questions I had, that I didn’t even physically ask Sirry were answered and confirmed. I would 100% recommend Sirry to anyone looking for a medium that knows what they are doing.

Beware if u believe in Jesus. I went to her office for a reading because my father was dying and I wanted to reach my grandmothers. When I met her she looked nothing like her photo, which I was surprised. She started by telling me she wasn’t getting along with her family. Her spirit guide keep interrupting her to stay on track with me. She said because of my believe in Jesus I was loosing important relationships in my life. I was able to hear from my grandmothers but at a price. Sirry has Buda and crystals in her office but no picture of the healer Jesus. Just felt the need to write this to make other believers in Christ aware of her motives. Stay away.

An interesting store. Something I struggled with in Salem was a lot of the high commercialism of witchcraft I experienced. I found the energy here a bit overwhelming and at times catering to tourists, which wasn’t quite the experience I was seeking as someone who has a deep spiritual practice. My mom had a great tarot reading here with a witch close to her age and said it was a wonderful experience. I wasn’t a part of that experience so I’m a bit limited in commentary there, but I’m thrilled she was happy. The reading was done in an very small booth-like setting behind a curtain right against the hustle and bustle of the store (if you’re an empath or claustrophobic, be forewarned that this can be very overstimulating). This felt unusual to me since I’m used to tarot readers needing energetic space and room to focus.OMEN has a fabulous selection of books I could have looked at all day. I’d love to come back to this store sometime not in the fall and see if my experience feels different. I adored the tarot artwork in the back of the shop and the nice selection of tarot and oracle decks.

I’ve been here twice, years apart and each reading I received was completely inaccurate. Both readers were off the mark so much that it was actually kind of funny. Both times were during the Halloween week and I believe both readers (men) are not normal readers there. The store itself has a great supply of items and the staff are very nice. I just can’t recommend the readings. I myself am in this field and I understand how one has to interpret what they are receiving, but no reader should be off 100%.

One Star because need to place it to do the review. I have been to a séance before so I am aware how they can go. The”medium” was hands down the biggest fake, she was so bad the three of us were trying to hold back the laughter. She didn’t even know how to read the room. Anyone could have stood up and done a better job without even trying. It was a true waste of $150 dollars to think she is allowed to stand up and present herself as a medium is just embarrassing to the store and embarrassment to those who truly are gifted. Most of all I felt bad for a family that was across from us that truly was hoping for a connection that they remained so still and you could just see the pain in these people hoping to connect with a loved one. Out of twenty people in the room no one could “claim this person” one lady took the bite but quickly realized this person was reaching and missed the mark. It was just all around bad!!

I paid $90 for the WORST reading I’ve ever received.I sat down and the reader immediately was uninterested and seemed ready to clock out.He yawned in my face countless times and distracted himself by playing with the table cloth and constantly checking his phone.I was so upset at the UNprofessionalism the ENTIRE time.20 of my 30 minute reading was going over my birth chart. Telling me things I already know “you’re for sure a Pisces… you have a rising in Libra… Aquarius like me”.Was VERY inaccurate asking me about my child (I don’t have a child) and relationship (that I’m not in).Complete waste of money, time, and sacred energy. The last few seconds where he didn’t shuffle the tarot cards lol he didn’t even explain the meanings of each card just gave a summarized guess I would assume on what he thought I should hear. Miss Cleo could have given me a better reading.

This is a cool shop that reminds me of some the places I’ve browsed in the French quarter in New Orleans. It’s upscale voodoo with a touch of new age hipster with Greek statues and a large room for formal seances On this visit to Salem and browsing the shops we stumbled upon this place and #1 son (Matt O. – Pittsburgh) and decided he needed to get a tarot card reading! He wasn’t disappointed, because according to him, his reading was with David and was the best! He helped guide him on a path that he thought beneficial to go down, and he was very glad he went. It’s to be noted that different psychics have different skillsets and strengths and offer to help you with individual needs. In addition to card readings, they do chakras, past life regressions, and more. But wait, this is a tourist kinda area so this is also a cool store for some of the less common items. I almost bought a really cool statue of the goddess Freya, but my honey said no, as well as some nice protection candles. Very unique and cool atmosphere with a neat vibe. (Do I sound really old here LOL) All the staff was quite nice as well.Note on psychics: I know the whole psychic thing is not for everyone, but Matt loves to get tarot readings and several of our presidents consulted with them over the years. The word “Psychic” is derived from the Greek word “psychikos” which means “of the mind or mental”. The origin of Psychics though dates back to ancient times. And the earliest account of the use of Psychic powers was seen in the Bible.For example according to Book 1 Chapter Number 9 in the bible, the biblical character Samuel is asked to find donkeys for the future king Saul. There are also examples in ancient Egypt where priests of Ra at Memphis acted as psychics in the guise of a seer. So it’s not a new idea and psychics are cool for those that choose to seek their counsel. Bottom line: If you are so inclined I recommend coming here if you are ever in Salem!

They had psychic reading booths in the front windows, were calling customers about reading appointments. I saw several items I liked in this store but just settled on a beautiful hand thrown pottery offering bowl. Little bit of a wait to check out between phone calls and the line. They have some lovely artisan products here. I wish I could have taken a broom in my luggage!

If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. To begin, the cashier and boss seemed to be snarky with each other. I had a Tarot Reading with Robert Brill and it was an incredible waste of money. When beginning our session, he did not even close the curtains which were inside the store. I asked him to for privacy and he complied, but I was perturbed that he did not automatically close the curtains. Additionally, this personal psychic session was on full display to passersby outdoors, as we were right in front of the window. He is highly insensitive and not an empath. He said that pregnancy ruins women’s bodies and that adoption is a win-win because women can get a child but not have their bodies ruined. I do not recommend this place for anyone. It is certainly not a safe space.

Paid for a reading – was about a 40 minute wait. My appointment time came and went and no one could tell me how much longer it would be. Unfortunately, I lost $50 because there is a no-refund policy and I wasn’t going to continue to wait in a tiny store with a lot of tourists. Waste of money and time.

I scheduled a 15 min reading online in October. Waste of money. The “medium” Sheila had zero skills and talked about her family. The cards were so genetic that my 11 year old son could have made up the same non-specific meanings. I believe in the month of October that they just get random people to “give readings” and cash in on the tourism. This reader was flustered and was not correct on one thing. Waste of $40. Lesson learned.

HEAVILY recommend this place. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibes. The interior was very atmospheric and I liked the shops layout. They have a nice selection of crystals and a standout was also their collection of statues which agonized me cause I couldn’t really consider any since I’m flying back home. A lot of personally handmade items too which I loved. There was a decent tarot and book inventory as well. The lady working the register was incredibly nice and personable. They played Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks which I also loved and just added that magic touch to everything.

Love this store! Love getting new books, herbs, and stones. I went in for a Rose Of Jericho and left with $120 worth of fantastic finds. I’ve been a big fan of Laurie Cabot since the 1990’s and received my tarot certificate in 2021 through Enchanted class offerings. I love taking trips to the water and never come through the city without stopping in.

Interesting shop! Lots of merchandise lots to see and read and learn!I am not a believer of purchasing a $20 Quartz stone would change things and believe that I have the power to make my own destiny. I bought a handful of gifts here for my sis-in-law! Wonderful store- energy is perfection. I walked in and just sighed- a real shop for witches, not that the tourist shops aren’t fun. I loved Enchanted, I had my soul daughter with me and she is new to the craft so I took her around to different shops explaining things and she liked this shop as well. I had the pleasure of having Leanne perform a reading with myself and separately my sister and friend. If you are even considering doing a reading I encourage you to DO IT. Leanne was amazing as a person and the information she provided was impeccable and accurate. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I will be returning to Salem solely to visit Pentagram and Leanne with my mother in tow to experience a reading for herself.

Cool location and friendly staff. I heard 10 people ask for a bathroom…even with the sign. There is no bathroom!Good collection of books and relics. The readings we had were pleasant and they did not but you for more money. A gentle stop.

Mainly your typical over priced kitchy witchy wares with reading booths for the gullible. The clean headed proprietor was stressed and grumpy, not very helpful. I guess this wasn’t a good time of year to visit but may be worth it for the amusement factor anyway.

I was recently in the area for work and couldn’t help checking this place out. I’d heard such great reviews on IG and word of mouth. The selection of products and value is great, and Emily was so helpful and patient. I really love that they have psychics who are knowledgeable and you can just feel are the real deal. I had a very pleasant experience with Chris. And also met Rob. I’m going to book him the next time I’m in town. I highly recommend shopping here and taking advantage of their services.

I stopped in while touring the Burying Point Cemetery in Salem (which I highly recommend). The store is right next to the Salem Witch Memorial. I just thought it looked cool. Really nice staff, stuffs a little pricey for the trinkets they have but it’s all really good quality and the staff genuinely know what they are talking about and want to help. I got a tarot card reading (15 min and $50), never done anything like that but it sounded fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how accurate she was and how much fun I had. Also, the store smells amazing without making you nauseous like a Yankee candle store does. Highly recommend stopping in for legit witchcraft keepsakes!

Wow! My reading with Leanne was just what I needed. She started off addressing my question but after checking in with me, went much deeper to underlying issues. She gave me the kick in the butt that I needed with so much compassion and insight. Very grateful to her for my reading!

I recently brought 3 friends to Pentagram for individual, private readings by Leanne Marrama. They were blown away by details she couldn’t possibly have known, but came out in their readings. They left feeling validated and with more clarity on certain situations in their lives. We all wish we had a crystal ball, but Leanne is the real thing! She is very empowering and straightforward in her delivery. The four of us can’t wait to have another reading from her.

Wow! I happily spent more money here than any shop on this entire trip to the East coast! There is so much amazing stuff & you can get readings here! The shop offers herbs, candles, adornments a plenty as well as a great selection of books. I bought things for myself as well as gifts. It’s a great spot, not only would I recommend it, I would say do NOT leave Salem without stopping by. Tim patiently helped me find the perfect ring, & was absolutely pleasant. While in Salem – it’s a must!!

Terrific, in tune tarot reading with Jacq.. she said the thing I was contemplating earlier in the day in the first few words. She was very generous with information and just completely on point. All good vibes in this store and their prices are very reasonable. They have a variety of items that are unique and many quality items.

I couldn’t wait to visit Pentagram as I would always go to HEX to see Leanne and Tim who are now the owners of this truly magical place.I visited on Halloween and had a reading with Carol. It was the first time I ever did a reading with Carol. She was extremely precise in describing situations I was going through. She gave me insight and peace with advice on how to deal with what was going on.I wish Leanne and Tim much success… if you’re ever in Salem please visit this place… they don’t rush you and are so loving and giving with messages and insight that are truly comforting! Love this place!

I got a reading from this lady and she couldn’t even tell the color of my eyes! She asked me to buy candles for each year of my age, $100 each to remove a hex! Of course she couldn’t fool me. Please don’t waste your time and money! She doesn’t even show her face on her website or social media.

Having visited a psychic earlier in the day during our visit to Salem, my husband and I thought it would be fun to see one more – to compare and to add to our reading. Autumn absolutely blew our minds away with the information she knew, the energies she was feeling and sharing, the visions she was having, and her professional, empathetic demeanor. Do not let her young age fool you. She is 3rd generation and her wisdom and readings are compassionately intense.
