Kelly is a medium I trust, whole heartedly. From the moment we spoke I could tell she was sincere, and genuinely wanted to help me connect to my grandfather who recently passed. I’ll admit I was nervous, but she helped me increase my vibration and calmed my nerves so that our chances of connecting with him would be easier. I cried when she said she expected to see someone visibly old, but saw a vision of my grandfather younger and robust. She broke down his personality to us to a t, which made me laugh, but also cry even harder lol.She said some things that made me so emotional because they were just so valid and many of the memories she explained my grandfather was showing to her, were ones only he and my family experienced. I love getting readings, I’ve had many in my lifetime and grew up with a mom who loves them also. (Over 15 I’d guess) The more I have the higher the bar gets and Kelly may have just set a new bar. I am SO glad I decided to book a reading with Kelly. She has a god given gift and ability to communicate with the other side. It’s always so comforting to have evidence our loved ones are still with us and with her assistance, we are able to communicate with them. My grandmother always comes through in readings but in this reading, she gave visuals and details that were so undeniably accurate and personal. My grandfather also was able to come through, and hasn’t with other mediums and he clearly communicated with Kelly so many personal detailed facts from his living life that were proof she was in communication with him. I get chills thinking about the reading now as I write. Some of the details were so specific: Fishing poles on the garage wall and going fishing (this was for my brother and folded linens that were kept in a drawer for sentimental reasons shown to her. This was amazing. My brother kept sheets folded in a drawer and she showed us them in the drawer and described the same hutch ( was hers passed to him.)Also, two figurines that are on top of my dads hutch that were my grandmothers, she described in detail. I texted my aunt and dad in search of them and found them exactly. (Photo attached) She had mentioned a Cadillac with a large car phone- the first kind of car phone. My aunt verified this was my grandfather’s favorite car and yes, he had the old blocky car phone in there and was very proud of it.She captured their essences perfectly also, wish specificity. What made them them. My grandmother with her poise and love for decorating her homes in and out and my grandfather, a no nonsense man who worked hard, was good at his job and loved things neat and orderly. She also knew he was funny and charming at the same time. Just so spot on. No way could this all have been found online or faked or guessed. I am a believer but I understand others out there may not be, and even as a believer, I am so soothed by validation of loved ones still around in an energetic realm. My brother is a none believer, and with this reading, I hope, his heart maybe opened up to believe, there is another side and that our spirits don’t die in death. Thank you, Kelly! I really debated on leaving this review but I feel that if people only share positives and feel too bad sharing the truth, what is the point of reviews? Kelly was highly recommended to me by someone I know and when I checked the reviews, I knew I had to get in for an appointment with her. I found Kelly to be kind, professional, and it’s obvious that she works really hard to make the experience as good and worthwhile as she can for the people who come in to see her. I am not saying that she is not great at what she does, I am simply sharing my experience. Let me tell you that I SO badly wanted this to be real. While Kelly was able to get some basic info correct, they were things that a quick internet search could tell you like that I am from the East coast for example. A lot of what she shared from the spirits were guesses and somewhat close but not completely and I eventually pieced it together for her. It seemed like she might use her psychic abilities to get close and then piece together something that she guesses on and you will have to fill in the rest, unless of course her guesses happen to be true. I did feel some relief after our session, but it was more like a therapy session for me than what I would think is or was a psychic medium session. I was really hoping for some sort of concrete evidence like an inside joke, song, or something that only my loved ones would know. I felt like she spent much of the session trying to convince me that she was in touch with my loved ones and guessing, but I can understand as she likely deals with so much skepticism. My experience aside, I still greatly appreciated the time and effort that Kelly spent with me. If she was a therapist, I would give her 5 stars but since I went to her to connect with my loved ones in spirit, I would say that based on my experience, I’m not sure if she was truly able to speak with my loved ones on the other side unfortunately. I listened to the recording a few times and unfortunately, there was not one single thing that she shared that was something no one would know or a quick internet search couldn’t tell you.

Hello,I recently received an e-mail and I was reminded of my session a few years back. There was no value in the things shared. Most were off target or extremely obvious. Kelly shared that my friend with Crohn’s disease was receiving a message from his departed mother not consume something but had zero details on what. Yes, of course, people with Crohn’s have trouble consuming all types of food. Among other things there was a lot of running around and asking questions rather than clear messages. Just because I agree that your question could make sense it does not mean you have a gift of mediumship. It was more an interview than a reading. Other than that Kelly was very nice and very personable. I can tell she was trying so maybe that’s why I didn’t write this sooner. This was a handful of years ago so maybe she has improved with the mediumship skills. And, I also spent close to $200 for the reading. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend and especially if they are going through a rough time looking for answers.

I don’t know where to begin.This amazing human being has brought so much light and peace to this non stop brain of mine. Nervous of course but Kabir was nothing but good vibes and a welcoming energy He is honest and no BS with his answers. I was amaze with all the information he knew, it brought me to tears I honestly am so happy I crossed pathed with him and consider him part of my healing family. He said he was sick and wasn’t really doing readings anymore but I still see reviews posted from 2022? Update: Good thing I’m not in California. I did not demand a candle. I simply inquired about them. I’m well aware of the law. He says he doesn’t remember old readings, but judging by this response he does. Any issue that I had was solved the very next day, & he said it wouldn’t be until mid July. So again, his predictions were wrong. He doesn’t want you to record for a reason. I had two sessions with him over the phone and they were completely different. I recorded the sessions, so I could compare. Nothing he said in the first session came true. The second session his predictions completely changed and he got caught in a lie. He resorted to providing “remedies” to run the time out instead of giving me my full reading. Overall it was a scam. Don’t waste your time or money.

I’ve been doing tarot readings with Kabir since 2018. I had the opportunity to see him in person before COVID and thankfully he does over the phone readings because I now live on the East Coast. After my first reading, I was really impressed with how accurate and he was with explaining what was happening in my life. He is very calm and patient with every reading! I referred my friend who was going through a very difficult time in her life and he was accurate with her reading as well. I am so grateful I came across his website 4 years ago. I’ve been to several tarot readers and he’s by far, the best. Not every tarot reading is going to play out the way at the time of the card reading because that’s what’s happening with the energy at the time of reading. I have had the opportunity to consult with this gifted soul, Kabir a few times and this review is way overdue. His ability to decipher what is going on in your life and to be so accurate it blows my mind. I went into this with an open mind and no expectations and what I go what was a mind blowing experience. I am so grateful that I came here. I have had a few family members pass this year and really needed guidance as well as supplies. I felt that the staff here really cared and took their time to instruct me and present many options that would suit my needs. The price is reasonable and I will be coming back.

Wasn’t intending on writing a review as I was only looking up the name so I could find the phone number/hours of this shop. All that changed in an instant and it’s time I say something about this place I have only been in once or twice. Not sure if I avoid this place because I’m having trouble dealing with what occurred there, but it’s time to find out. One afternoon my bf & I were waiting outside Botanica Mama Roots for it to open. It was past 1:00 pm & the shop was supposed to be open but wasn’t so we decided to wait. Standing outside a young lady approached the door & we automatically thought she was there to open the store. But after looking inside and finding it closed she stood off to one side and waited like we’d been doing. I could feel her glancing at us but more specifically at me. To this day I remember my exact feelings that day and how quickly everything changed. Suddenly I became uneasy but not in a bad way, nervous and on-edge like I couldn’t wait any longer, I wanted the shop to open and not wait any longer. My bf had noticed the change in my behavior, asking if I was alright and saying maybe we should come back at a later time. No, let’s wait. We’re here & we’ve waited this long, let’s give it a little more time. That’s all I remember saying & thinking. For whatever reason I felt compelled to wait however long it took, definitely not my normal. Minutes passed, maybe 10 I’d say and the other woman waiting appeared to be getting ready to leave. She was writing what looked like a note & went towards the door, then turned & walked towards us. She explained she was the shop owners daughter in law & the owner was on the way as she’d just gotten off the phone with her. Thanking her for the info as she started to leave us I felt strangely aware of everything around me, like I wanted to follow in the direction she was leaving, but our car was parked right next to us. The best way to describe my feelings would be ‘should I stay or should I go’, song by The Clash. Without noticing this woman reappeared, saying she was a Reiki Master and had something to tell me that was very important. She asked if I knew what Reiki was, I didn’t and she didn’t take the time to explain. What she did say was that I had a significant health issue that if left unattended could easily kill me. WTF?!?! I’m healthier & happier than I’ve ever been, nothing stood out that could pose such concern. She went on to say we mask issues & although it might not be apparent on the outside, she saw a storm brewing on the inside of me. This woman rattled my cage! I was dumbfounded. She briefly explained that this was highly abnormal for her to confront someone out of the blue, not knowing them or being asked for a reading. Hell, I had zero clue what had just taken place. This all went down in under a minute and she was gone. Fast forward a month, I found myself in emergency surgery fighting for my life due to an infection that had started in my leg. What’s so bizarre about this is I never put two & two together, connecting what she’d said until the day my home health nurse said she’d never seen anyone heal so quickly….as if it was magic. I’m sorry if this story has gone on too long but I needed to recall & write it, why I don’t know. Now 7 years later I’m going to try & find this mystery lady again.

I have been going to mama root’s botanica for a little over 6 months and not only have I found items that took me there but also left with a few more that were not planned or budgeted. The folks that work there are super friendly… almost like your really nice coworker or wonderful next-door neighbor (Angel, Carol, Stephanie & Silas… those that I know). They are insightful, teach, educate, offer solicited personal advice and I always have difficulty tearing myself away to leave. I still have very high hopes of meeting or running into mama roots herself as I really would love to meet and know her. That’s how reputable the place is to me. I hope this place lasts for a very long time.PS: It’s really none of my business but with my total experience in the past 6 months frequenting that store 2 to 3 times each week and all the 5-star reviews I read, if “how are you” is what gives you sleepless nights then these people need more than a cleanse. Does the public bus driver or the gas filling station attendant ask everyone “how are you”? Do you not still go to those places? I am not the owner or staff of the place but I really do love the place so much that I felt the inclination to stick up for them. We worry about the wrong things in life hence we need to darn cleanse in the 1st place.CONSTANTINE.

Not the best energy in here. The man working here had his pants down below his butt and had to pull them up when I walked in. Thankfully he was wearing boxers. But I did not want to see that. The person behind the counter charged my card, and then said there was an error and asked foe my card to charge it again. A red flag went off in my head, so I checked my bank account and the transaction had processed already. If I had given my card again, I was going to be charged a second time. Thankfully I showed them the transaction in my account and I didn’t have any issues leaving with the item I bought. Aside from this, the energy was just not positive in here. I jockey found the item I went in for a and left, and I feel like I need a good cleanse after that experience. I wish the best on this store, it’s customers, and it’s employees.

So as a longtime veteran of the service industry (luckily, I’ve moved on from that part of my life lol) I’ve learned to quite despise this route of reviewing as it’s generally just people who want to complain about the most ridiculous things. However, I know people generally use Yelp when looking for suggestions as far as where to find what they’re looking for, and for that reason I feel compelled to write this review.I LOVE this shop. I absolutely love it. As a practitioner of my craft as well as just someone generally interested in the esoteric, I’m always on the lookout for places to purchase my supplies and maybe even interact with others who share my beliefs and I’ve found that in Botanical Mama Roots! I’ve lived in several major cities on the West Coast and when I moved back to SD from Portland, I found my supplies pretty well depleted and in need of some serious re-upping. This shop had everything I needed and then some, plus I’ve quite enjoyed the conversation I’ve had with both the man working there as well as other customers on several occasions. Is a shop like this for *everyone?* well, if you’re going to call something bAd ViBeS just because it’s not your style or whatever, I guess not. But if you ARE looking for tools for your practice, a truly unique space, and even input/guidance/advice from someone who really knows their stuff, then this is 10/10.

Unfortunately second time here was not as good as the first. We got here around the time it opened, and was not greeted as we came in. No ‘how are you’…at no point was I asked if I needed help. Maybe I wasn’t being taken seriously, I don’t know. I got a couple items and left without much fanfare. I really enjoy coming to this place but being treated like that does not make me wish to return.

I’ve passed by this store so many times and my ancestors finally said “today is the day! It is your time! You can enter!” It was meant to be. I felt good and at ease as I walked in and explored. The store owner was so nice and helpful. I’ve been burning sage wrong this whole damn time and they gave me very helpful advice and recommended some items they have available. I plan to come back and shop again soon!

No one answers calls and I show up when the store is supposed to be open, no one is here. 1:15 pm on a Thursday. I messaged on Facebook saying “hi why isn’t the shop open right now?” And got a rude response saying “have some patients” (you mean patience?). What a waste of gas. Definitely will not ever shop here if this is how a business is ran.

It’s hard to know where to start when expressing how amazing and talented Autumn is. Before anything, it’s important to note that she is a TRUE HEALER. I first did a tarot reading with her, which was spot on. Both from an external level, to what was happening in my internal state. She gave me a lot of guidance and clarity on how to move forward.Then, I came to Autumn for her known Chakra work. This changed me and helped healed me. I went from feeling lost, semi-depressed, to alive, open, free, and feeling joy again. She worked diligently with me to clear any blocked chakras, and really put time into our work both in session and outside of sessions. She was always in contact with me, guiding me, meditating with me, coaching me on my solo meditations, etc – a dedicated partner in the healing process. She really takes her time to make sure you are progressing. She also utilizes powerful crystals in the process that come from Brazil.Autumn then work with me through various techniques to continue clearing out negative energies from my current field and state. I never done a tarot reading before and I was stuck at some point in my life so I gave her a try after reading all the 5 star reviews on Yelp. I hoped that she would give me some sort of clarity and predictions of what was next. Unfortuntely, she did not deliver the service I was looking for. I met with her outside a cafe. She was wearing a big hat and buying herself a cup of tea. She explained how the reading would be done and I pulled some cards after that. The majority of cards were the Cups. Here was her explanation: I was struggling with some thing in my life. Oh yeah, that’s so obvious. Nobody would find a psychic if they are not struggling with some thing in their life. That’s also the only thing that she got right about me. She did not say anything else that had happened or was happening at the time. I asked a bunch of questions but her answer was SO vague and not going to the point.I have been waiting to see if I can validate anything she said but unfortunately nothing!I have been to many asian psychics and they were so spot on. One of them was so exact about me that I got goosebumps all over my body. But she is in Vietnam though. Compared to her reading, Bianca tarot was nothing at all.I am giving her 2 stars because she was nice. And that’s it. The reason why she got 5 star rating is because she offers people who rate her 5 stars a free follow up reading. That’s the trick!By the way, she did not sense that I am also a psychic. I don’t call myself a psychic, but I have many predictions that come true. I just forgot to tell her that her palm hints a sudden and deep decline in her health at age 43. If you want someone to listen to you and motivate you, go with her. Don’t go to her for any predictions because she won’t be able to give you one.

Glad I didn’t follow through with this appointment because she was very unprofessional. She dose not even have her own space to do readings I guess she dose them at a coffee shop. She also told me all her problems when I called to make an appointment about how she could not give me a reading at the requested time which didn’t seem like enough reason to turn a client away. Also sent a confirmation at almost midnight then next day FaceTimed me like 4 times. I don’t know have not had her services but this was just the experience before hand. Would recommend seeing someone else.

The flexibility that Bianca had regarding my reading was right from the start, impressive. Further amazing aspects of the reading included the approach she provided regarding my being able to ask anything that I felt I needed answers to. Bianca had a very tactful way of bringing out my ability to ask my questions from within so that I could get accurate answers. The DAY AFTER my reading I received what I was hoping for. This was my first tarot reading and I could not have asked for a better experience. Bianca was approachable, generous, honest and flexible. First of all, I was recommended to Talk with Kim, 24 years ago! From that first phone meeting, I Knew I would be talking to her for quite some years! Kim is a warm, kind person, who was right on with me so much of the time. What I Love about her is she does it the readings in a positive way. She will constructively show you a path to take & give you great knowledge of why. I’ve been seeing Kim for over 11 years for advice and her spiritual insight (usually during life transitions) . She has always been highly accurate in first describing my present circumstances, and then providing hope and crazy accurate predictions pertaining to what’s on the horizon for me. She is no-nonsense, but most importantly, she is kind and ethical. She’s a hit at parties, too! I hosted a witchy Fall party a couple years ago and hired her for the evening to give readings for party guests. Each guest loved her. My favorite anecdote from that night was revealed three weeks later when a guest shared that during her private reading, Kim predicted a new job on the near horizon for her. Since my friend wasn’t looking for a job and was happily employed at the time, she dismissed it. Turned out that an old colleague contacted her a week later and asked her to join his new biotech startup as a founding partner. She accepted, and then Kim’s prediction from the party came back to her. We were all stunned! Even when I see examples of accurate divination come true, it still surprises and delights me. I just realized that the review I wrote for Kim was over 10 years ago (!). Anyway I had seen her recently with a better mindset than when I first went to her back in 2011. The reading was great and Kim was really, really accurate with where I was in life and the people around me, even though I didn’t prompt her or ask her to look into them. She looked into my husband (whom she liked and described well! She’s actually the only reader I’ve met who knew right away I was in a committed relationship without my telling her), my work (the fact that I was juggling between two different bosses…very true), and a very horrible, abusive person from my past who recently moved into my area (won’t go into that one, but thankfully that person is out of my orbit). She even knew that I tried to warn people going into business with this person, which is something I haven’t told anyone close to me.I wish I wrote down what she had predicted for me back in 2011-12, but I do know that she was really accurate about reading my present energy and the energies around me and she helped me avoid certain paths that wouldn’t have been good for me long term. I remember at the time she told me that I probably shouldn’t pursue becoming a yoga teacher (despite practicing often and becoming physically strong) since I didn’t have the personality for it. At the time I was considering it because a lot of people thought I should and another reader had suggested that this was the career I was meant to be in. Thank god I didn’t become a yoga instructor because I love what I do and I’m good at it!Another thing I like about Kim is that not only is she kind and compassionate but she also lets me be angry without making me feel bad about it, lol. I’ve had other readers try to make me see the “good” in certain people who’ve wronged me in the past and say things like, “They didn’t know any better!” or “They’re hurting, too” or “That’s just how they are!” or some other sweet condescending nothings that make me feel worse or guiltier than I already feel. I’m in the camp where there’s nothing wrong with feeling mad because sometimes anger can help you let go! Look, I realize that you can’t hang on to anger forever, but I also recognize that you shouldn’t feel ashamed for your true feelings either. Acknowledge it, embrace it, and move on. This time I did write down the predictions she gave me as soon as I got home. I’m not sure whether they’ll come true or not, but I’ll be honest, I don’t put too much stock into predictions since I’d rather let things unfold the way they’re supposed to. Anyway, I still recommend Kim if you are looking for a great reader!

I just had my first ever tarot card reading with Kim and was blown away. Some friends and I had a girls night and she came to our house to give readings to 6 of us. She was friendly, on time, and easy to talk to. During my reading she called out many things about my past and future that really resonated with me. I’ve already seen one of her obscure predictions coming true. She really helped with some insecurities and concerns I’ve had about my future and I had a great experience overall. Most of my friends had pretty crazy/accurate readings as well. I would absolutely recommend going to Kim if you ever get the itch to have your cards read.

Psychics are never 100 percent accurate and good ones will tell you that. However, Kim has been 95% accurate in my readings. Getting settlement money to the number of figures (6 figures) and approximate dollar range (800K)! Timing was a little off but “free will” keeps things in a state of flux so timing is difficult to predict. She’s also friendly and enjoyable to talk to. What an awesome man! I met with him for reassurance that I’m on the right path in my life, and I found him to be a great listener and a very warm and compassionate human. Initially I had misgivings about seeing someone who uses tarot and stones, but those things turned out to be rather interesting and I had quite a moving experience with one of the cards I pulled.Beyond the techniques he employs, I think his greatest gift is to offer wise counsel to his client. He has made living in harmony with spirit his highest priority, and when he listens and speaks to you candidly and honestly from that place it is advice worth following. Words cannot express my gratitude for God pointing me to Tommie. He is extremely intelligent, practical, and has a true gift. Many gifts. I will always count him as a friend and a guide. Without him I would not have gotten through the death of my best friend, a brutal court case, and a very difficult recovery from trauma. Spirit works with him. He stays in truth and light. I had always been a skeptic when it comes to the occult, but decided to take a leap of faith and do my first reading with Tommie a couple of years ago when I was feeling lost in life. Readings with Tommie are not about gazing into a crystal ball to see your future or pulling a rabbit out of a hat. His magic is helping you see more deeply into yourself in order to make the motions through life that honor your authentic self. His approach is compassionate, but expect to hear the truth from him even if it is painful! In my last reading, I drew a card that called out my need to make a huge and scary change in my life. Tommie helped me find the strength to take that difficult leap and since then, everything has seemed to fall into place. He’s not going to do the work for you, so don’t come in expecting him to fix your life. It’s about finding the tools within yourself to start your own repair and construction. I would recommend My Authentic Self to anyone ready to embark on a better relationship with themselves. Last Friday, my friend and I went to Tommie to discuss questions I had about a spiritual experience I had over the New Year holiday. While I won’t disclose details, I will say that Tommie is one of the most genuine, compassionate, intelligent readers I have been lucky enough to meet. It had been many years since I met Tommie – and after reestablishing our contact at a local gem faire, I decided to go to a wonderful event at his store and am I ever glad I did! I bought one of Orion Foxwood’s newest books from him (since I didn’t have it yet) and got an impromptu consultation with him. OMG’s – as a professional intuitive, Tommie is the REAL DEAL!! Getting a reading from Tommie isn’t a parlor game experience. If you are looking for someone to just give you the answers to make your life easier…move on…this isn’t what Tommie does. Tommie works with you to help you find the paths available to you to address the issues you are facing in your life. Tommie is so great that I’m writing this review as soon as I got home after my reading. I’ve had quite a few readings done in the past and came to him for clarity around a situation. He made me feel at ease right away. Tommie used several methods to answer my questions: runes, stones, tarot and energy reading all within our session. I would totally recommend him to anyone in need of a reading that will tell it to you straight and not try to sell you on other things you might not need. I went to see Tommie for Reiki Healing and a Psychic Reading. It was a really pleasant experience. The reading was done with Stones and Tarot Cards and actually opened my eyes up to some confusion that is going on in my life. My partner and I was bored strolling around North Park/Hillcrest during pride weekend and seen psychic of North Park and was intrigued to walk in. Of course we were skeptical at first but Psychic Jessica proved me wrong. She was very detailed, and unveiled situations in my life that there is no possible way she knew about. I went to my first medium experience here after losing my father 11 years ago when I was 18. To be able to convey his very unique, goofy and quirky personality SO accurately brought back memories that I had forgotten. He has a sense of humor that is edgy and out there and isn’t something you can just guess. She brought up *very specific* topics I would journal about and not tell anyone, fears and hopes that only those on the other side would have heard me saying to them. I was even able to communicate with my dog. It was a life changing and incredibly healing experience with my mom. Joy is such a lovely person as well and explains the process in a way that helped me understand how this really works that I’ve never heard of before. I came into this thinking maybe nothing real would actually happen, that I would just have to pretend that he said nice things, and instead I came out the other side mind blown with what I experienced.Thank you Joy! This saved me years of therapy to hear what I needed to hear. I got an incredible amount of closure that I needed and got to reconnect to my mom in a very special way.

Joy is definitely a sweetheart, don’t get me wrong. She has a great energy about her – however, I can tell you with full confidence that she is not the real deal. During my session with her, she started making random assumptions about my profession. I could tell she was making it all up and basing her judgements on my reactions as opposed to her “intuition.” Not only that but she incorrectly guessed that one on of my relatives had passed on and kept going with it. At that point I wanted to walk out. Overall, I was disappointed by the “reading” I’ve had with her, and would not recommend anyone to see her. Although she is sweet and kind in nature and is empathetic, she unfortunately is not a great psychic.

I wish there were enough words to express my gratitude to Joy. Early this month, I lost both of my uncles within a week of each other. I hadn’t seen either of them due to the pandemic and had lots of unresolved feelings. I have never seen a Psychic/Medium before so I was pretty nervous but I went into the session with no serious expectations and an open heart and I am so so glad I did. I did a combination of intuitive reading/coaching and mediumship. It is hard to put into words how unbelievably amazing my experience was with Joy.
