So far, she seems pretty legitimate. I am a bit of a skeptic, but have many people in my family who believe in validity of psychics. I do believe in different types of energies, if that makes sense, but have yet to be “wow”ed with anything beyond that. Madame Lisa was able to pinpoint almost immediately the type of career I have, as well as the evolution it has had as of late (recent changes, second job, etc). She was able to discern and predict information about my current relationship as well as my most recent one… Surprisingly accurate. She would make a statement (not generic- something like “you were together X years”, “it ended due to X or Y”, and “X happened at work” “you’re planning on moving in the next 3 months” etc) then she would say “Does this sounds right?” AFTER her statement. She didn’t really ask leading questions before making her statements. And I would say 80-90% was spot on with detail, and the remainder she asked for clarification on a piece of it. I was impressed! We’ll see how much of her predictions ring true in the coming months. 🙂 I’d go back!

Her website says she takes walk-ins, so my friend and I walked over about 3/4 of a mile (no big). We rang the bell and waited. She came out – didn’t seem to speak English very well. She barely opened the door, told us she works better from appointments, and that she only takes cash. Then she said bye and closes the door, turning us away.Waste of my time. Idk how she is as a reader but be forewarned…

I don’t even know where to start. Jeana (my apologies if I spelled it wrong) is truly blessed with such a great gift. No, this isn’t some kind of hoax bs where she toys with your emotions and says generic statements that most people can relate to in life, but she actually KNOWS you. She knows your individualistic life and all that comes with it. She knows your past, your present, and gives you such a vivid insight to your future. All your secrets or thoughts you keep inside, she knows and feels it. She’s confident in what she does and says, and she never misses an essence of what you feel and who you are. If you need more convincing, just know she has mentioned many things that I have kept to myself for YEARS, without me saying a single word about it. I was in tears because of how gifted and authentic she is. I really can’t express enough how amazing the whole experience was. This was such an amazing experience for me. At first, I was a little skeptical, but she was so genuine and honest with me. She took her time with me, and even though she had just met me, she knew everything about me and my life. I would definitely recommend coming here if there is anything in life you feel skeptical about or want to be at ease with. Madam Lisa is great. She claims to read palms but I think she is more of psychic – she glanced at my palms but was more just pulling things out of the air, in the way that psychics do. She is kind, and good at her job. She named (by description) the last three boyfriends I had, and offered sound advice.

This was the first psychic reading I have ever had, and I must admit I am quite the skeptic. About three minutes into my session with Michael, it was undeniably spot on. I went with a friend and her reading also really hit home for her. Another perk was that we both signed up for a 3-7 month reading, but Michael was kind enough to go beyond that time frame.The location was easy to find. My friend waited outside and I volunteered to go first. Sat in a big comfy chair facing Michael. Crystals and religious figurines surrounded us. It was about 10 minutes of reading and 5-10 minutes for questions. My only suggestion is for Michael to slow down a bit! It is a lot to absorb in a short amount of time.Overall – great energy from Michael, spot on reading for both my friend and I, got more than what we paid for, affordable, slightly rushed. Will be returning with my partner and sister in the future!

I have been meaning to write a review for this place for a long time now. First off, SAVE YOUR MONEY and don’t trust this place!!!!I found this place from Groupon and thought I was getting a great deal. And I thought why not? However, like other yelpers mentioned, they will try to charge you more and more! When I went there, the lady told me that if i paid her another $40, that she can do another different kind of reading for me. $40 more? Sure! A great “affordable” groupon deal ended up costing me $300 in the end! I went here because I was going through a hard breakup. And I don’t know why I thought getting a psychic palm reading would make me feel any better. After paying her for my groupon session, she said I needed to come back to her for 3 more sessions to properly “heal”. But that it was going to cost me a few hundred dollars. So I paid her the amount and she gave me some incenses to light in my room that she said spiritually make me feel better. The lady was very nice but she’s a fraud! I told her that I had a very strong feeling that my ex was seeing someone else because of some clues I found that led me to think that. But she strongly reassure and told me that she can “feel” him. And that I’m just upset and that my emotions are causing me to overthink. A few days later, I found out that I was right. And so when I told her this, she went a 360 turn on me. And said that she knew this already and was going to tell me that he was involved with someone else. OKAY SUREEEEEEEE. PLEASE do not ever come here!! So sad of you to scam people! I like to think that I paid for a therapy session to vent instead lol

This man asked me to give him five or six hundred dollars so that he could buy a camera for me that would allow me to see the spirit world. Embarrassingly enough, I complied, and then he later denied that I gave him any money for such a camera. I should honestly sue this person. This is after he gained my trust when I was in an extremely difficult life situation, and he used it to exploit me with pseudo-religious talk only to have me pay far more money than he deserves for prayers and some kind of remote healing that I could not even verify for myself. I see this man as a very dangerous and extremely manipulative person who has shown to me personally that he is willing to take advantage of someone grieving or in some other severe emotional disturbance. You have been warned. I also would not trust any reviews that are related to his family such as anyone out of state.

I wish I could give a minus star, this place is a total rip off. He kept mentioning money and that I should give him more. He even asked for $1,000. He just kept asking for more and more. There should be laws for these places.So I tried not to see how phony this place was, but alas I had to admit it was soo fake and the man was rude. For a fun lets see what she they tell me it’s cool but DO NOT PAY MORE THAN THE GROUP ON DEAL $20 FOR A READING…THERE IS A REASON SHE IS ALWAYS ON GROUP ON, REAL DEALS SHOULDN’T NEED TO BE GIVING A CONSTANT GROUPON DEAL. 1 STAR IS REALLY OVER RATING HER UNLESS THE REVIEW WAS FOR HER CON JOB, AT WHICH POINT SHE’D GET 4 (BLOWING THE CON LOST HER A STAR) AND HERE IS WHY:I find that Frances’s initial reading was good now I know though that she just played off my confusion of the situation I was in at the time. After paying increased fees over my groupon deal for an advanced reading, and agreeing to return after she asked spirit for healing assistance and paying additional $$ down as deposit (the rest payable in 2 weeks) towards that service (estimated $500 total) and return in 3 days, upon return I received 7 sticks if incense, wrapped in a paper towel and instructions to burn everyday in my house and wash ashes down sink she asked for more money (any amount towards balance) which I didn’t have. Two more phone calls from her in that 7 day period, 1 in which she told me she was praying for direction on me however the spirit was getting blocked and she felt that if i could make another payment it would clear the blockage so she could receive the messages. Ok so she pulled her con on me for being in need of the help i hoped I could receive from her….thankfully she made that comment about spirit being blocked by $$, and I woke up and stopped believing in her, that is my fault and I’ve learned my lesson. Ethically, she should be ashamed and you all should be forewarned.Oh yeah did I mention that I called on a Saturday night about 7pm (well prior to the posted closing time) and was told it was too late to be calling? and the man did not mean calling for an appointment, he meant too late to be calling period (i asked)…that was about a month prior to actually going in to get the above scam!

I’m only giving two stars because at least the woman was very nice. This is a complete waste of money. I went with my two friends and paid them. It was embarrassing bc the woman had us hold the money in our hands the whole time for “increased spiritual power” which meant that they knew how much I spent on them. Also why would a corrupt non-spiritual object such as money bring spiritual power? It was very awkward. It cost 135 dollars for the three of us in a room together and it was over in 20 minutes. Nothing she said was impressive, it was only correct when taken vaguely. If you believe in psychics, this one isn’t real. And I you’re just going for fun like we were, find a cheaper place.

Okay I have to say that I didn’t book an appointment because of the phone conversation I had with Michael about 2 months ago. I’ve since learned about a real authentic and ethical association of Readers and Rootworkers which I found while looking for readers. Two things I read as problems, were first (I THINK) he quoted me at $150 for an hour reading. My shock must’ve been noted bc he asked if I’d ever had a “real” reading before. In fact, I told him, the reader I go to semi-regularly charges $35 for 30-45 mins and works out of a room in her Botanica. She was on a trip to Mexico for another week at that point and I was stressfully looking for a reader I could go to instead. He asked me what a Botanica was (no way he’s never heard of one; any business owner or independent practitioner of anything knows where their competitors are and what they charge…how else can one stay competitive?) I explained briefly what it was but I felt like I all of the sudden had to defend my patronage of the Botanica to him! Then he asked where it was. There are a handful of them in the area. A small handful and I felt creeped out when he asked me that. Like WHY? It just heebie-jeebied me out. The woman I see isn’t available in an as-needed capacity, so maybe since he’s living out of the house he works out of, he needs to charge more? But he has lower overhead…don’t know.. but I’ve since found this out:IF YOU AS THE CUSTOMER ARE PAYING OVER A DOLLAR per MINUTE for an in-person, phone, or Skype reading, you’re being ripped off. (Unless you call a service that provides on-the-spot phone readings, but that of course will cost more) I’m Not saying any readers are frauds, but it’s way too high for a reading which is basically a snapshot of how things are AT THE TIME of the reading, and card readings are generally considered to have a three month picture. Beyond three months..well, conditions change based on your life choices so I don’t think it’s realistic to expect anyone to see “the future” past that time frame with cards. Other readings, such as palm reading, geomancy, and astrology can give you a “farther” view. So after I said how much I usually pay, he said that in the following week he was running a half-off special, so it will be just $75. That sounded more reasonable. So I said I’d call later about next week (but not really bc my regular lady would be back by then)- so he said that he could give me the discount tonight. I made an appt for later that night but after thinking about it and reading Yelp reviews, I cancelled. I’ve since had very accurate reading at affordable prices, and I feel I’ve dodged a bullet in my wallet!

I cannot say how good a reader Michael is because he didn’t show. I arrived 15 minutes early for a 1pm appointment and another resident got him on the phone to tell me he was stuck in traffic and couldn’t make it until 230 or 300. This appointment was made well in advance for my 9 year old granddaughters as a Christmas treat. The location is an hour round-trip from anywhere else we needed to be that day, so even though he offered to do it later, it was impractical and my girls were not keen to spend much of their day in the car. If Michael had been considerate enough to call me an hour in advance to let me know he couldn’t make it, I would have been able to rearrange our schedule for this one and only day I had any Christmas time with my granddaughters. This was very disappointing.

Jan is so amazing!!! She is truly gifted! She helped me understand so many things in just 2 sessions. She works from the heart! She played in a huge part of helping me understand the relationship I had with my ex, and I thank this one simple session for helping me accept and completely detach myself from this unhealthy person. I love Jan! I have had several readings from her and the best part is that she records the readings. I find that so useful. As someone who has always been skeptical about Amy’s line of work, I really thought I was going to walk away disappointed. To my surprise, I had never felt more seen and heard in my entire life. Amy gave me a reading before knowing anything about me and by the end I was in tears from how moved I was. Even minor aspects of her reading that I questioned initially proved to be true soon after. I would highly recommend speaking with Amy despite any skepticism you may have because by the end of the session I’m sure you won’t.

Talked to Amy again today, wow it’s like any doubt in me about the metaphysical world goes away when I talk to her. Her energy alone is comforting, confident, not pushy, straight forward, purposeful, authentic. She doesn’t even pause, she just knows what to say and what you need to hear. In the last 2 months I have been exploring my uncontrollable attraction to the metaphysical world as I’ve entered into an awakening and have talked to maybe 6 other intuitive/psychics. Many of them are amazing in their own way but man is Amy special. Many are spot on with many things but Amy isn’t just spot on, she’s telling you exactly what NEEDS to be said for that MOMENT for you, without hesitation. I have used talented and gifted psychic mediums internationally. Amy’s initial reading was very good and her intent seemed genuine. Much of what she said resonated deeply. I was going through a very turbulent time navigating my career and a breakup. I asked Amy a questions in follow up emails and she reminded me that these fell outside of the scope of our contact. Fair enough and I apologized. Not long after I received an email saying that she could no longer do readings for me because her intuition and integrity told her I needed to talk to new healers. At first I respected the message; however, cutting someone off like that with no real reason is very unsettling ti say the least and dysregulating. For some it might even cause more issues than needed. Anyway I asked if I had done something wrong and she said no. I sent one last email asking if we might discuss it further as it was upsetting to me and she did not reply.

I had a session with Amy today. I have had many sessions with mediums over my life. All good and very helpful to me. In fact, if you scroll through my reviews, you will note that I frequently lean toward an otherworldly form of advice. This reading with Amy though…this was on another level. There are no words to describe what it is like. It is like Amy is inside your brain, your heart, your gut and also floating outside you, all at the same time. There is no way that she could have known some of the things that she knew, saw and talked to me about unless she has a divine power and/or connection to something greater than us. She knew and hit on things that I have briefly thought or believed, but never placed real credibility on. There is no way that anyone could have known these things. Needless to say, I loved my reading and would certainly do my best to budget a follow up as soon as I can.I urge you to consider a session with Amy if there is anything that you are confused about, unsure about or simply need confirmation on. It is a great investment and one that I will revisit as soon as I am able.

I went to a retreat with Becca at Mt. Shasta and it was such an amazing experience! She gathered a really wonderful group of people and created a magical space for transformation and renewal. She went above and beyond my expectations. The food was delicious, she beautified the retreat space with flowers and other special decorations, and she had a wonderful mix of activities including hikes, swimming, waterfalls, full moon watching, and sound healing. If you are called to attend a retreat make sure to do it with Becca!

Becca is absolutely amazing! The insights she provides resonate so deeply and are always exactly what I needed to hear. She has never said something that felt untrue or off-point for me. She is more than a psychic as she heals or clears things energetically as well. Becca Ross is the real deal. Over the years I have known many therapists, intuitives, body workers and so on. Becca stands out among that group in a big way. I was not looking to engage in another therapist relationship – Among other reasons, it can be difficult to “break up” with them when you are ready to move on, as their livelihood depends on your continued need of them. I recently had a reading by Jennifer and was simply blown away! She quickly pin pointed the troubles in my life I needed answers and channeled the most loving advice I have ever received. I love, love, LOVE this little shop. As someone who is newer on my spiritual journey I find Milk and Honey’s inventory to be so fascinating.I could spend hours in this shop just going through the tarot decks, books, oils and crystals.Every-time I’m visiting Sebastopol, Milk and Honey is a must stop for me.The prices are reasonable and staff is always informative and helpful. On occasion they even have tarot readers in house. Such a unique and cool shop to explore in Sonoma County.

A cute little shop in downtown Sebastopol offering fun treasures of all types–crystals, books, candles, tarot decks, jewelry, spell kits, and so much more. Worth stopping in to check out the current selection. The shop attendant was super helpful and patient with answering a bunch of questions and inquiries from me and my sisters. We each left with a bag full of goodies.

i came here with my sisters since my older sister moved here recently. the wonderful person working there greeted us and the environment felt so welcoming and smelt so good. they were playing some fleetwood mac and that was an automatic green flag. when i go back up to visit again im definitely taking my friends!!! the crystals i purchased were still less than $10 total so it’s really affordable!!!

This shop is amazinggg! The diversity of their products is unlike any other similar shop I’ve been to, and the selection of books was particularly impressive. I could have spent hours here. My only disappointment with this shop is that it’s not in my city, and a bit of a drive away, but perhaps that’s better for my wallet.

Recently, I was at this establishment and was treated very unkindly. I asked a simple question about something in the store and was met with condescension and hostility. They are not willing to educate their customers, which reflects extremely poorly on their own understanding of what they are selling. I was spoken to harshly and the woman at the cash register insulted my intelligence. I will not be giving this rude establishment any more of my business.

I come here all the time. I love the books, crystals, ambiance, oracle cards, and most of all the people who work here! Shout out to Ariel!Also, I just got a reading from Polly! I had a great experience. Thanks again to the whole crew at Milk and Honey I would live here if I could. I always stay stocked up on Sensuous Beauty products (local Sebastopol company). They have a rose and honey lip balm that keeps me feeling like the true goddess I AM. also they make a raspberry, rose and honey “Love Tincture” that I put in my coffee or tea. It’s suggested to use as a aphrodisiac or fun in the bedroom… which I like too! So hey! I’m winning all around. ;-)I literally keep both those items in my purse.

Had to stop by this store after our crabbing trip. I found such a beautiful lotus candle holder, various chakra candles and most importantly of all, my rose quartz bracelet.The cashier was so sweet and unpretentious. I love every part of this store! The person helping us was exceptionally nice and understanding. They had very well priced ritual candles that you can make yourself, and they had a good range of materials to use for the candle as well. The store had a very nice selection of crystals, and their properties were listed alongside the price. They also have a good range of incense, and this was the first place I’ve found with reasonably priced metal incense burners. This store also had a very inclusive selection of tarot decks and deity statues. 100/10, I’d come here all the time if I lived here.

What a kind and supportive person. Lisa helped me uncover some really heavy things inside myself that I had been holding for some time. Not only did I release emotionally and energetically, but I felt my body release blocks and tension as well.She provided me resources and made sure to check in with me the next day to continue assisting me on this path of healing. So grateful, and a little overwhelmed honestly by how deep it went. I had experienced the loss of my husband a year ago. With two small children, life after his passing became ridden with anxiety, fear, depression, always feeling behind, zero energy, problems sleeping….the list goes on. I’ve been coming here for a year now, and I always find something that makes my day better. They have a huge selection of crystals, beautiful gem stones, jewelry, incense, sage, Palo Santo, singing bowls, cards and more. My favorite crystals are the aventurine, carnelian, citrine, and tigers eye. Hell I love them all but these are a few of my favorites. I love how knowledgeable Cami is. She is so sweet. Anytime I’m feeling I need a pick me up I head over and look for a nice little gem. I absolutely love it here!

We visited the new store on Mendocino Avenue (across from Co-Op grocery) for the first time yesterday. Had no intention of buying anything. Just wanted to check out the stones. But seemed to have an instant connection with the owner. We were so incredibly impressed by her informative, friendly, warm presence that we couldn’t leave without purchasing 3 beautiful pieces. The owner even looked up more information for us without our asking. Then advised us to take a cell-phone photo, so we can reflect back on our new stone’s characteristics later. My dog was having a surgical procedure done and I needed some sage; was shocked to learn that neither Windsor or Healdsburg had spiritual shops; but Santa Rosa did; so that’s where I went!! Thank goodness I found this place. I got a HUGE bundle of sage for nine bucks, a mallet for my singing bowl, a card for our veterinarian/surgeon and some loose sage and sand (a gift from the owner) and left there feeling energized yet at peace.

Love that all the staff are knowledgeable. Beautiful crystals, I bought an Amazonite and rose quartz pillar pendant they are my favorite necklaces and I’m very happy with prices as well.

I’ve long loved this store! Wonderful offerings and tone. I just found out that they moved to 1915 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA, so I wanted to post it here. I haven’t been to the new store yet — hopefully tomorrow! 🙂

Great quality jewelry..I have gotten several items over the years. I haven’t been during Covid so don’t know what policies/procedures they are implementing. Everything has held up very well. One of my first necklaces is still in fantastic shape 20 years later and no reactions to the metal they use for their products.

I had the pleasure of meeting Magick today as I was at Haight Street. In life sometimes we simply need to follow our intuition, I think. I was happily surprised as I met her by such a coincidence. She did an hour of reading and I have to admit every second was eye-opening. It was so beautiful and kind of her to direct me in a gentle way about the hardships that I shared with her. She is so gentle and yet strong in her presence that even just having been around her, I felt wiser than before. I truly enjoyed my very first reading and I have to admit this is way better than my very first in life:)Thank you Magick! You are so special my dear..

Unfortunately, Magick’s “customer service” skills were so off putting my friends and I decided to go else where. I emailed her a coupe weeks in advance to find out if her and her associate April could do a reading with me and two friends but separate readings, due to April and Magick switching locations as part of their business her and I exchanged a few emails. Once I found out her timing and prices I told her I needed to check with my friends as well as she needed to check with April to see what dates worked best as my dates were flexible. Magick did request to chat on the phone when I was asking pricing questions etc. Unfortunately I work in a classroom and a 10am – 1pm time frame she gave me to talk on the phone was really hard. I did however start to confirm the times that we each wanted and she told me that I needed to call her and that she ” didn’t have time for emails”. Sorry what business “doesn’t have time for emails”….. said no business ever…Its unfortunate that it turned out this way, we were looking forward to our reading. FYI-Her pricing was: $60 – 30 min $90 – 45 min $120 – hour

I did one reading with her, and it was right on… so accurate. Now.. i was looking for her again, because i met her on the street and did spontaneous reading with her. So, i was not sure if i can find her again. But.. i found her. I am looking forward for another reading now. Highly recommend.

Magick Altman is a gifted reader who has had my trust for the two years I have been stopping in. What I absolutely appreciate about her reading are her mannerism and mastership. I have work with the Tarot for over 16 years and finding Magick has been such a great and positive experience. Her reading is a part of my self-care. It is therapy to me, I walk in with questions and I leave with an understanding and insight. Her gift is tremendous and true, she is the real deal. Wow! I was always suspicious of tarot readings and anything of the nature but having grown up in India, I always knew there were seeds of truth in spiritual connection, and universal energy that conventional science cannot explain well. Magick is a very warm and inviting personality. I was intrigued and sat with her 20 minutes and everything she said to me irradiated so much truth and understanding, that I felt she had known me a lifetime. My girlfriend was present with me and after the reading, we began walking down the street only for her to realize 10 minutes alter that she wanted a reading too. This experience certainly opened up the doors of curiosity and growth for me and my girlfriend. Thank you Magick!

Magick concerns herself on a deep level with all things with… well… Magick. There is a deeper meaning behind everything happening in your life and she will help you understand it with her thorough esoteric understanding. Immediately you get the sensation with her that she has deeply entrenched herself with the knowledge of the tarot. Her book is a superb comprehensive breakdown. Her relationship with the symbology is dense. It was fascinating listening to her. Do yourself a favor and get a reading. She will blow your mind! Sebastopol for the win!

Just had my first tarot reading EVER with Magick – after hearing about her for years from a dear friend – and I have to say, without exaggerating, it was PERFECT and TOTALLY RIGHT ON. She clearly *sees* the cards, which were so right on I am still stunned . . . Plus, it was FUN!!If you can’t see her in person, she does ZOOM or SKYPE. . . . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! (and I am not an ‘easy’ sell!)

Rude, harsh and confrontational. If that’s what you like in a tarot reader, she’s your gal. 4/5 because experiences are subjective, i try to give peeps the benefit of the doubt (maybe she was having a shit day) and who knows, maybe some of ya’ll out here in cyberspace are looking for a swift kick in the ass.

I just had the most enlightening and grounded reading from this Priestess! She is truly a mystic and reads not only tarot but numerology, and Kabalah. I went to her because my husband and I are looking to buy a house. After and hour with her all my concerns about where to live and finding the right property were cleared and I felt relaxed and in divine flow. Magick’s readings help you know the greater cycles and context within which you’re moving so you can take appropriate action and let go of distraction.
