I would recommend doing this. Was a super fun experience. I would go for the 25.00 palm reading that is more in depth than the 5.00 advertised one! Seemed pretty legit. Although she does not touch your palms which may catch you off guard.

I really wish I didn’t have to give 1 star. This lady is unpleasant and very rude. She asked if I wanted psychic readings or tarot cards. I asked her to explain the difference since she used cards for both (psychic & tarot). She decided to belittle and assault me by explaining what logic and common sense is, instead of the services- very unprofessional. I simply removed myself and said, “God” bless you. She responded sarcastically, “May the Lord be with you.”

I love love love this shop. If i buy a braclett i get it there. They have awesome clothes and purses.  A huge variety of essential oils with great choice of scents. I usually buy gifts for my family and friends there and oh yea a  few things for myself.Did i mention  they have awesome dream catchers of all sizes. Anyone who hasnt been there u need to check it out u will love it.

This book and gift store is truly one of a kind and I always enjoy stopping in to shop for quality products or just browse. If you enjoy true, authentic culture, this store is perfect for you!Renaissance includes an array of products, including books, clothing and jewelry, incense kits, crystals, art, and more. All products are of high quality but are reasonably priced.The Renaissance associates make you feel at home in their quaint store, helping you from behind the jewelry and crystal case. Although I have never utilized the opportunity myself, I do know tarot card readers and psychics frequent the store, available for purchase.It is a bit difficult to social distance in the store, as aisles are tight, but COVID-19 regulations are set in place.

I’m not gonna say that they dont have really groovy things in this place cause they certainly do (a bit pricey but…) I’m giving it such a low rating because I could NOT believe the attitudes of the two women behind the counter. They were straight hags, and that’s me putting it nicely. I was interested in buying a necklace which woulda been a good sale for them, since like I said, their things are a bit expensive. The one woman acted like she was being put out to get into the case to show me a pendent. They kept talking while I was being “helped” and I wasnt acknowledged in the LEAST bit! I was so completely offended that I just walked out. I may have said something rude as a left, I cant remember but that is beside the point….I would NEVER give someone my business if they didnt think I was worth their time, which was the case here.

I enjoy walking around in Renaissance. The staff is friendly and they have a lots of books, some by local authors. They’ve got lots of beads, gemstones, incense, statues, etc. A friend of mine even bought a didgeridoo there.The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed.If I had to categorize it, I’d call it a girly head shop.

I go here quite often, I love the incense. Price are reasonable, and there are a wide variety of items in all price groups.  Always a clearance section, too, with nifty items.They have a great selection of incense, not just the $1 cheap stuff, but a wide range of quality ones, too. I don’t think anywhere else in town sells the premium stuff.The prices are certainly in line with what other retailers sell similar items for. Incense seem to be priced at the same as they would be online – yeah, some are expensive… that’s why they have the selection of $1 ones…As far as books go, they have a wide variety, many used, at prices that are competitive. These types of books are popular, and aren’t “cheap” anywhere unless you are lucky @ a garage sale. – and have the patience of a saint to wait ’til ya find them. Used and clearance sections, too. I was a book seller, I know.As far as glass items go, the prices seem reasonable and comparable to Internet and local prices. Yeah, I got a better deal elsewhere on a votive holder. Months later, it ain’t a pretty  green thingie, the green peeled off, it was cheap junk and was recycled. The similar, slightly ($1.75) more expensive one I got here is still AOK. The candles seem a bit pricey, however they are high quality, and seem to last long. I can’t imagine these people being rude – they cater to my miserly buying habits like I am buying a lot. They’ve bent over backwards when I found something that was out of my budget (remember, I’m miserly!) and scoured the backroom searching for $2 incense I wanted like I was spending $200.When I was with my ex, she seemed very pleased at the clothing and prices… not exactly objective, since she was spending my money and she is anything but a miser. There was always something she wanted here, and it was always hard to lie my way out of buying it “but honey it’s cheaper at so and so, and darn they just closed, we’ll go tomorrow”, b/c nobody else had the stuff, let alone at decent prices. The bulletin board is handy, and the free papers are cool if you want to find a UFO investigator, find a renaissance festival, or read about the multi state area’s offerings.5 stars in some huge city? Probably not, 3 or 4. But we are here.

This is by far the best bookstore in town if you are looking for new age, spiritual, or just plain different items. I get in trouble when I go here because I spend too much, I literally want one of everything. The staff is always nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Wonderful place to get gifts.

This place doesn’t have any competition in the small city of Springfield so there isn’t a place to compare it to, but that’s okay. As a person that needs a bookstore that isn’t CPO or Mardel, this was the place for me. You can find things for anyone here. If you are Buddhist, they have something for you. If you are Hindu, they’ve got you too. If you are Wiccan, Muslim, Christian or just a curious human, this place is for you. Here you can find all the crystals you need and any book that may spark up your interest. And if they don’t have something you are looking for they are pretty good about being able to special order it. They also offer palm readings, Tarot card readings and many other things.
